  1. While you mid-Atlantic people are getting more snow, down here in FLA it's going to be more rain. Be very careful if you're goofy enough go out driving in that white stuff.
  2. Gary the mailman delivered the Wahl cordless sander that needed to be repaired. I was lost without for a week.
  3. The local weather last night reported that there's another storm growing in California and headed towards you again. Don't shovel too fast. You might just get done and more snow will hit.
  4. I'm hitting.500 so far. I went with model to boost my rating.
  5. What a beater! Fantastic job of weathering.
  6. Sweet. Love the detailed interior.
  7. Looking good Shane. Could you possibly tell me how to get that customs_by_terry on ebay?
  8. Thanks for the address George. great workplace CAL, but you left the toilet seat up.
  9. I have mine tiered but not drilled. Appreciate it if you could find the article. The normal square Testor's bottles would require lots of chisel work. Maybe when you put your LHS out of bussiness you could snag their paint racks. Is there a decent LHS in Sprinfield? I need to be up there May 12 -16, 2010 for my ViêtNow convention.
  10. Not too shabby. Love the paint. Seems like everyone is trying to get their models lower and lower and you come out with tall 4 x 4. Love it.
  11. Looks pretty darn good to me Eric. What kind of stencil did you use?
  12. Wow George - nice work area. Looks like you're very organized and neat - the way a building area should be. You have more kits and supplies than my LHS. Love what you did with the paint spoons. I drilled holes in the handles and put them on a shower curtain hook. Don't have as many as you though. How did you do the blue paint holders? Just drill holes in a 1" x 4"? Or is that a special stand? I could use something like that.

    Whowee! Nice ride.
  14. Long ago I had a plan to create a fixture that would be used to hold drum so I could accurately drill holes and mount treaded rod into. A wheel would drilled and then mounted to the studs. Tiny nuts would hold the in place or be removed for display. Never got around to trying it and my eyes aren't good enough any more.
  15. I drove the Project Eagle '75 Nova drag race car 3 times. My best was pushing 200mph and around 7et. I believe it used to run super comp. My normal job was packing the chute and torqueing the lug nuts.
  16. There's been several posts about making decals. I've never done it. Something about an Alps printer if you need white because normal printers don't do white. I'm sure some knowledgeable person will reply soon.
  17. The flag doesn't bother me. I'm an official honorary Kentucky Colonel - bestowed on me by the governor of Kentucky several years ago. It's good for as long as I live.
  18. WOW!!! I always go to DC for Veterans Day; many times to ride in the POW/MIA demonstration ride with Rolling Thunder; and every 5 years for Father's Day at The Wall with Sond & Daughters In touch. Fortunately for me, I'm not around when really nasty weather (SNOW) has been there. The city and surrounding area must be completely shut down with all that white stuff. Looks like too much for even a snow blower to handle. Settle in, stay warm, work on some models, and wait for the thaw.
  19. Oh yeah. Corel has been around for a long time. I've been using Arts & Letters Express for a long time. Did the license plates come with it or did you copy from Acme? I copied some over from Acme and I'm rting to think up more vanity plate names so I can fill a page of glossy photo paper.
  20. Okay. So what's the name of the new graphics package? The plates look terrific.
  21. Jody, I don't get it. How are other people supposed to help if they don't live around you?
  22. Would pictures of the palm trees in my yard help any?
  23. Never been to Lost Wages but my wife keep promising to take me. How come you aren't in a casino?
  24. Frederickburg is near DC isn't it? 11 1/2 is a lot better than the 20 - 30 predicted on the news. Be careful out there. Our local paper had a pic of the Korean War Veterans Memorial coveredd with snow. How appropriate for the Veterans of that cold place.
  25. Just did a set of pipes on a '33 Willys. All you need is a tubing bender - looks like a tightly wound spring - and bend slowly & easily. I then removed the aluminum tube and cut where I thought appropriate. Pics of my Willys will be posted soon.
