  1. I have not decided on the rolling stock, as you know I like Replica Stock. I have an appropriate set of Hubley kit wheels and some better tires for this one, as the profile on these tires are too short for this type of car. The tires I will actually use will depend on the style, and the color of the build. I am going to use what I have in the basement. I have to do a little putty work to it, and shoot some primer. I had a set of Hubley '60 Ford Wheel Covers Cast, which I used on this one... and will use on this one... as well as a Starliner, which I have yet to build. The wagon may be done up as a bookend to the convertible, or maybe not. It depends on the paint color I pick up when I do the paint job, hopefully in a couple of days.
  2. Chris, Please check for the roof rack.
  3. Roger, At this point, It's going to stay curbside.
  4. I can keep my money in my pocket on this one. No.
  5. I love it!!!!!
  6. Here it is in all it's glory, an un-painted, gule-bombed Hubley '60 Ford Wagon. The kit accessories were heavilly glued on. The quarter panels did not escape the glue-burn. Once I removed the accessories and cleaned up the glue-burn, It does not look too bad. It cleaned up nicely, and now it has a "Ranch Wagon" vibe now.
  7. That is so nice.
  8. I love it!!!!
  9. Jonny, I used the AMT '70 Impala Wheel Covers, which look better on the car to me than the '71 MPC Covers.
  10. I too enjoyed life with "Grandpa". He was a master craftsman who would show me woodworking, painting, auto mechanics, etc, and he did not do these things as a profession. Your grand son is a lucky fella.
  11. That looks sooo good. You are going to make me build mine, aren't you. I have done the '60 '62, '64, '65 and the '66 convertibles. I have the '61, '62, '63, '64, '65, '66, and a '67 in the collection to be done. One day.
  12. Nicely done as usual!!!!!!
  13. That is beautiful.
  14. The '59 Corvette Kit had the Hardtop. I am willing to bet that Revell put that page on the instruction sheet by mistake. It would have been nice if they had included the hardtop in the '58 though.
  15. Can we say "Hocus Pocus"? That is one magical conversion.
  16. That is nice!!!!!
  17. Nice!!!!!!

  19. Builds like this one is why AMT is re- releasing this kit. Beautiful!!!!!
