  1. Beautiful. Love the pink.
  2. I dare you. Go ahead. Make my day.
  3. Dwayne! You hit that one on the head. All you need are some steelies and dog dish caps, and we will be watching a TV show of the 70's, I need to get back to work on my '74 Spirit of America Impala. I have to figure out the grille and headlamps, and I am there. I love this one.
  4. I built my 2nd one as a Caprice Hardtop in Marina Blue, with a Black Vinyl Roof and Strato Bench seat, and the 1st one was built from an AMT kit as a Convertible in Aztec Bronze. I love these cars.
  5. That build looks great so far, I painted my coupe Testors bright Yellow, which is very close to Fly Yellow! I may take it down and restore it with a better paint job.
  6. I believe that the Transkit is still available from HRM. I have one, and it is fantastic. I am leaning towards either Acapulco Blue or Candy Apple Red, with a black interior, and white stripes. Your builds is a beauty.
  7. I remember those side facing rear seats well from Dad's '68 Country Sedan.
  8. I love that. I may do one of mine like it.
  9. I remember seeing a 63 Country Squire with buckets and A console here locally in Md. One of my neighbors had a Black 66 Country Squire, and another had a beige one. I think it would be quite handsome in Emberglow. I have a '66 convertible built in that color. I will be a customer for one.
  10. I did a similar conversion with a 1964 Valiant for an imaginary 273 power pack car. I may do the same with my 65 Barracuda. Which is not mint anyway. I love this build so far.
  11. I am quite sure that you will knock that one out of the park.
  12. That is my absolute favorite car. I built the coupe a long time ago. I am looking forward to seeing this one.
  13. The absolute best up top for this application would be the one from the Revell 1965 Chevy Impala Convertible. I used it on my 1965 Olds Dynamic 88 convertible several years ago.
  14. I have had the interior for years, but sorry, I cannot post any pictures as I am in Photobucket Jail for now. Trust me, the interior is a very good fit for the Revell kit.
  15. Funny thing, the last '62 I built was a derelict '62 Bonneville Convertible, to which I added a roof from a MCW '62 Catalina to make a hardtop. I bought them before AMT marketed its current ;62 kit, which I have several, and one under construction as a convertible. A new tool of the '62 Bonneville would have been great. Another Catalina/Ventura does nothing for me.
  16. Absolutely, but unless you are a detail freak like me, the Johan kit will suffice, and even though it is lacking in detail, and has wire axles, the fit is great. I bought a '70 Road Runner body that was based on the unobtainium Jo Han annual, and I robbed a broken '70 Superbird I built and scrapped for the interior and chassis to do a simple project. When they were cheap, I bought up a bunch of AMT Road Runners and GTX for the chassis and powertrains. I did a '69 Coronet R/T that way, and I have an R& R '68 Charger R/T and '68 Coronet R/T resin transits, which I have fitted the updated chassis under, which fit nicely. I plan to use the Dog Dish Caps and Steelies from the Revell '68 Charger for the Coronet R/T. With the Revell '68 through '70 Charger kits, and the AMT '70 Super Bee, I am going to have quite a fleet of turn of the Decade Mopar muscle. Raoul's build puts my AMT '69 GTX to shame, and I won a best Mopar trophy at a contest with it. By the way, I have an AMT '69 GTX Convertible, that I am considering combining it with a derelict JoHan '69 Road Runner to do a '69 Road Runner Convertible, incorporating the superior Johan Grille and Tail lamps into the AMT body, and making the appropriate changes to the body and interior.
  17. Very nice!!!!
  18. Everything flows on that one.
  19. It is based on the Revell kit, which it will fit. I am not sure about the AMT, which I plan to build mine stock. I wish someone did the '63 Dog Dish caps. A sleeper Impala Z11 street car would be quite interesting. In doing the '63 Old Reliable Z11, I believe either the AMT '63 or '64 Corvette Roadster annual kit has the Hands Mag Wheels that were used for a time on the '63 Car.
  20. Beautiful! I love those 70 through 72 Monte Carlos.
  21. Wow!
  22. Very nice.
  23. That is sharp.
