  1. Beautiful. I have an unbuilt one in my collection. The body is very brittle, as I fixed the break. I considered getting it cast in resin so that I can build it without worrying about it cracking. It looks so much better than the AMT I built a long time ago.
  2. The MCW Impala interior reflects the Impala trim package with a bench seat instead of the Impala SS bucket seats and console. I bought mine to do a Z11 car.
  3. I like those '48's. I may do a matching set of a Ford and a Chevy built along the lines of these cars.
  4. I was reading the latest issue of "Muscle Car Review", and they had a wonderful article on the UFO race car. That is one sharp '65.
  5. The '62 cleaned up nicely. I am still deciding on the direction, as I have what I need to do it as a Replica Stock, but yours looks so good, I may reconsider.
  6. Go for it Dan! I have both an original annual AMT '63 rebuilder, a couple of Revell '63's along with a Model Car World Z11 Impala Interior trans -kit. I have both a set of "Old Reliable" decals, and a set of "Strip Blazer" decals. That was my favorite era for drag cars. I may just take a year, and build nothing but '60's super stocks.
  7. I like that color combination on that car. I painted mine silver, and there was no bleedthrough.
  8. Nice save on a valuable body. I have a couple of oldies I would like to try that technique on.
  9. Model Car World resin bodies are pretty good. One thing though, there is no chrome plating for the bumpers or the grille. I have several of them to be built. I built their '69 Chevy Biscayne, and even though I had to re-do the top, it went together fine, and I was pretty happy with it.
  10. Lookin' good!
  11. I really like that one. I got the latest issue of Muscle Car Review in the mail yesterday, and on the cover is a gorgeous red 69 RR with a black vinyl roof. I may do mine to match that car.
  12. Beautiful!
  13. That is sharp!
  14. g The vinyl roof is not the problem, as it was meant to have it. The problem is that the roof looks chopped.
  15. If they cannot provide the '69 body, ask for one out of the '68 and you will need the clear glass too.
  16. It was bad, but Revell made good on the ones I bought. Funny, I never finished that car
  17. I believe that the '68 and 69 Chargers are pretty much the same body, I believe that the modeler has to fill the '69 side markers on the '68 kit and use the decals furnished in the kit, which I do not like and do not plan to use. When the Dick Landy '68 Came out several years ago, I bought a gorgeous set of '68 Side Markers in Turned Aluminum from a company called Auto Atomix, which is now defunct. I am not sure that Revell made corrections of the side markers on subsequent issues of the '68 Charger kit, which included the steelies and Dog Dish caps.
  18. Revell called their character General Stewart. I guess at the time Monogram decided that their '69 Charger Kit should have the same flavor as the DOH car.I guess their flag was supposed to go across the trunk lid because the car had a Vinyl Roof Moulded in.
  19. that is the bad one. I would contact Revell. I think the '69 is out of production, but the '68 may be current. They may have some bodies left.
  20. The DOH kit was originally marketed by MPC, not Revellogram, even though their 69 Charger had that ridiculous flag in it too. It's a shame that Dylan Roof will not get the same treatment that he did to those innocent people.
