  1. That one is coming together nicely I built a red on black convertible years ago, and I have a '65 fastback under construction, That's the wonderful thing about that series of Mustangs from Monogram. You can mix and match parts rom one kit or another to get various variants. I may have to do one of those.
  2. I had 2 Citation X11 demonstrators back in the day. One was an '82 in white. with a stick, and the other was an '83 in silver with the automatic. I liked both cars immensely. They seemed like decent cars to me.
  3. Bill is a very good friend of mine, and he builds some wild creations, as well as an exquisite pinstriper. He is a member of M.A.M.A., and lives in the Northern Virginia area. He frequents our meetings and shows, and is quite a prolific kustom builder, and a wonderful person. As busy as he is with life and his projects, I do not think he posts too much any more. You may be able to contact him through the club. http://mamasboyz.org
  4. That is fantastic!!!!!
  5. Fantastic get!!!! I had that camper back in the '70's. I wish that I could find it, but I think Mom tossed it. I still have several '60's Imperials to re-build, and I did a Buick Special Wagon a couple of years ago.
  6. I like that one!!!! I have one to do too.
  7. The last time I built a Mach 1 was back in '71 . I have another in line to be built, along with a '69. Good luck on your build.
  8. I have a couple of oldies that I plan to save. I just found an old built up '64 Corvette Fastback body in the basement. I want to do it as a Replica Stock '64 Fuelie coupe. I have enough parts to make it work.
  9. I just got my hands on a Meng Ford F350. I have been doing some research on the truck, as I want it to be a tow rig for my Galaxie Trailer.I have to decide on a color combination.
  10. On this board, we have all kinds of modelers. I have been in the game for about 55 years myself, and I do not consider myself as a great builder. I know what a great model build is when I see one, but as of now, I lack the vision and the dexterity to do one of those. I do enjoy what I do, and I do the best I can. I have ruined enough models in my lifetime, that I can get a decent build now. Right now my attention span is so short, I have about 20 or so unfinished projects, 100 or so idea builds, and 1500 un-built kits to choose from. Personally, I like the opinions of the so called experts. I take a lot of them with a grain of salt. Also, I am happy to give any assistance to any builder who asks. Fortunately my late Father was a car nut like me, as well as a detail freak. I like detail, and I try to be as correct as I can with my builds. Not everyone is as fastidious over details, and that is fine too.
  11. Marcos, That one is fantastic. I picked up two of them, and a slew of Resin for a stocker, and a personalized one of the truck in the same color family. I got to back to work on mine!
  12. Abbra Cadabbra! You are such a magician!!!!
  13. Would you want that thing representing you? Satire!
  14. That came out pretty nice. I have not gotten my kit yet, but I do have a can of Panther Pink paint.
  15. I cannot wait to see how you work out the fender vents. I love it!
  16. I've seen resin shrink. I would see if they would replace the shrunken parts. I take my hat off to you for that build. It should come out beautiful !!!
  17. I cannot afford it. I tried to buy several of them, but the price is out of my reach.
  18. My mom had a gold '80 Monte Carlo Landau, which I kept a kit to do the car. I liked that series of Monte Carlo, having a couple for demos.
  19. I like that!!!!!
  20. Go get 'em Mike!!!!
  21. While that would be a good idea, most modelers would want to put it in the superior Revell body. I am going to get another one, as I have a MPC '73 annual that I am going to cut up and combine with a Revell body. It's a glue bomb that I have where I would like to do a base Barracuda coupe with white wall tires and full wheel covers, which I just got from Missing Link Resin. I have a not too bad Sox and Martin JoHan '71 that I am going to restore. It's all there, but I want to replace the carbs with a set of Fireball Dominators in lieu of the kit parts.
