No, I don't - I'm not big on taking "In progress" pics, for one, I think it kinda ruins the surprise of seeing the completed piece & the other reason is that I'd rather spend the time building instead of taking step by step pics !! .... that said, thinking back, I probably should have taken at least a couple for this one ; before mounting the body - it did seem a shame to cover it up

Thanks guys !! - For those who may not know of Ed Newton, he designed anything & everything cool that Roth built ( Mysterion, Road Agent, Beatnik Bandit, Bike Hauler, etc. ) - as well as the Pink Panther ( which I'm working on still ), Sand Dragon, Red Fox Wrecker ... and many others . I think he was a pure talent. Mike & Kevin, who made this 3D body & this model possible did a fantastic job; going only by pics & a few tips by me . I did a few mods on the body they produced ; but the overall shape was there, so .... kudos to them- they are masters of 3D printing . For me, the car brings back special, fond memories of when I saw the 1:1 at the custom car show here.

Here's my 1/25 Roach Coach - Scratch built frame, gas tank, wired, plumbed, 3D printed body - needs a couple adjustments - but 99.9 % done.

I think you have the facts a little bit twisted there Tommy - Mark got whacked & he sent one of his lackeys to post his long winded rant. There was never an accusation made that wasn't factual. Builds & items were, indeed sent to the museum, that were never acknowledged. I was merely trying to give the heads up to Harry's daughter, so that she may be aware that this could happen as well to her fathers collection. Obviously I hit a raw nerve, for Mark to feel a response was needed. Harry never held back his thoughts & wasn't afraid to ruffle feathers - I'm not either. Perhaps, if you ever decide to take the time to build & donate a 4 month project somewhere & then, not receive acknowledgement; you'll feel the same . ......... that's if you can spare any time from your cheer leading & gossiping hobby.

And ..... if using the plastic - just cut a slit or two for the doorway & have a piece of plastic overlap - the whole thing will take 30 minutes or less !!! -

This video is interesting, the one after - Very painful to watch ( it really drags ) , but he does point out a few things - it is not durable ( as some have already mentioned ), it is thicker than Alclad, because more product must be used, in order to achieve the effect, where as Alclad is put on thin, therefore details still show & he labels it for what it is; "a polished aluminum look". ....... not chrome, although; it may be the closest thing at the present time. -
Wow !!! - really nice work so far !!

I can see where your coming from here Harry, color would give a whole different look to this; although the style isn't to my taste; I have to give TJ full credit for building something off the grid - I could see going many different ways with this; when I see what some of the builders of the 1:1 lowrider bikes put into their creations ; it opens a whole 'nother chapter...... for those so inclined.

Very creative - fantastic styling you've done with this - and your display is right on the mark - thanks Manuel !!

My Chrysler A 318 poly head engine 3d printed at home

I can see how purchasing files would work great for those with the machine , it's the one off type of projects that I think will remain costly, if guys are wanting someone to take the time to create these type of files; it just wouldn't be worth it for someone; such as yourself with the knowledge; to do for less than a fair price.
