  1. Absolutely love Jr. stockers. For so many years they've been the unheralded backbone of the sport. Good job.
  2. One of my all-time favorite planes (and the A-20, too). Nice work!
  3. Jeez, I hope not.
  4. But it would be nicer if Atlantis offered the tubular roadster frame.
  5. Benjie "Blue Boy" Carver.
  6. Criminey! The brain in my head hurts!. I admit that sort of frame was before my time, so whatever knowledge I have of them is second hand. I have one or two of those Revell frames buried away in the basement. Think I paid a quarter apiece for them back in the day when the local hobby shop (Nassau Hobby in Freeport, i.e. Ralph's) was clearing stuff out Buying the kit? Depends on the engine options (if any) and what equipment pack come with it.
  7. I always jump the gun. The Double Dragster frame is more along the lines of a Chassis Research frame. Mea culpa.
  8. Looks like the Competition T has the FE engine. And what engine is in the dragster?
  9. Rich Morgan won one of the Revell model car contests.
  10. NY metro listener supported (that I'm aware off): WBGO jazz WFMU free form WBAI progressive variety (whatever that is) WQXR classical music
  11. I have a '70 GTX that I started some sort of project with back in '70 (probably killing time while waiting to go into the Navy). And what year did the AMT '40 Ford panel come out? I'm sure there's one or two others that I started back then packed away in boxes.
  12. Yeah, probably the Scotty Fenn dog sled digger. And what would make the comp T cost that much?
  13. I think that it's close to being happy as a pig in - um, er, mud.
  14. ?
  15. Connie Kalitta ran a 429 digger (and flopper) back in 1969.
  16. 'Cuz of that crazy trunnion arrangement.
  17. MPC did a slot car of it. And yeah, try to find one.
  18. Thanks for posting the site. What a trip down memory lane. Buried in all those issues is an article about a rear-engined sprint car (subsequently banned). Gotta find it.
  19. So, has this big shot announcement been made already and I missed it?
  20. I used to work for a company that sold crappy off-shore made polyester clothing by mail. A trailer full of our goods was stolen. They never found the trailer but did find our stuff by the side of the road.
  21. ?
  22. Either the AMT 1932 Ford roadster or coupe. Black plastic. I was probably nine years old.
  23. In the early '60s Freeport Stadium had a "Sedan" class full of barges like that. 1/5 mile, too.
