  2. That looks like a Marmon Harrington 4 wheel drive conveesion on thay truck. I dont know of anyone that made the wheels in resin in Recent years. Chuck Most would likely know if they were made. The tires I have seen from Scenes Unlimited in the past.

  5. Looking out the kitchen window today. Single diget temps but the sun was out shining brite. 13 fox squirrels were retrieving acorns from the house next door. They can stay there but they won't. My tree is to old to produce many nuts anymore. There yard is loaded because they jave 2 large oak trees also.
  6. Headed in the right direction. Looks great.

  9. Welcome aboard.
  10. Welcome back. Yes it is easier to post photos. Don't think we need a host site fpr photos now. The upgrades are great.
  11. Welcome aboard Tim. I live just over the boarder in Temperance MI. There is another Toledo builder on here every now and then.
  12. Temperance MI just North of the southern border. Within an hour of Detroit and 40 minutes of Ann Arbor
  13. If you tip the pen upside down , does the paint come off of the car to leave just a drawing?
  14. Spent many a night after work helping a good friend work on cars. There were around 4 to 6 pf us that qere there mpst of the time. What ever he had to work on we helped. We also worked on our stuff. I had a 78 Cutlass that we put a 30 over 400 Chevy in to replace the 305 that GM put in it. That was a fun car. After the ringleader divorced his wife we started hanging out at the restoration shop he worked at. He left there and we started to hand out at the Metal mans shop before he passed from Cancer. A nice list of cars went through those places. No i didn't get to drive any of them. Lol Sure seemed like home no mater what shop we were standing in.
  15. Went to the Alexis and Lewis store in Toledo on Sunday. They have the 57 Nomad, 57 Chevy red box art, 56 chevy black car on the box, 64 Mustang convertible, 69 Camaro, 82 Vette, 32 ford roadster Monogram, AMT 32 Ford hot wheels car release and plenty of the Mach5'S and 1/32 scale green hornet. Just a few days ago, they didn't have much left but today they were loaded again.
  16. South end Toledo store has the 57 Vette, convertible Mustang and the Dan Gurney race car for the latest restock. Not sure what they had earlier this week.
  17. Moving along very nice.
  18. Ron don't beat yourself up over this. taking care of your dad is not easy. You have a lot on your plate. Maybe you just need a check list of things you should have checked out. That old boiler will work fine with a cleaned-up burner. MY dad and I did his one time because the holes were rusted up. He put the boiler in the house in 1963 or 1964 and we did the cleanup in 93 and every couple of years after that until My sister and her husband purchased the house 2 years ago.
  19. Nice pair of Ford full size cars there Rick.
  20. None at the closest store to me. I wouldn't mine a couple of those.
  21. Thank you for the pictures showing the tips Dennis. This is going to look great when done. Does anyone know of a source for the little deuce grill for these?
  22. I like this a lot. Ollies has these if you hurry to get a second kit.
  23. I love old photos, even better when they have any mode of transportation. The picture of the car looks like it was set up with a tarp behind it. At the very top there seems to be a post for a building. Pictures were not easy or cheap back in the day so it does not surprise me that it would be a still set in a controlled environment, for good results.
