Went to Hobby Lobby and grabbed another Foose truck for Parts, 67 Camaro and 2 of the New 442'S. I checked the 442 and the A pillars are fine.

Stopped into the Toledo store and found the new 442's have arrived. Now I have 2 at my house with good A Pillars. And a 67 Camaro. -

Jeff that looks like you have a nice winter project sorting out parts and bodies. Head down to Hobby Lobby and get some of the different size bags they sell by the Jewelry. -
What did you see on the road today?

So why is this news now? The questions have been asked for awhile by normal thinking people for years. All of those questions have been swept under the rug for too long. -
It will have to be a 350 (1 ton) to be a wrecker. I do recall that as an option if sales went well.

Looks great.

Wow this is well done and very cool.

ICM did a few different bodies for the Model T I am hoping this is the plan for the Model A's. I do wish they would have picked a different body style other than what was already here.

The new phone book is here!

100% BILL. Even people I know that are tech heads take more time finding a number that even has an address right there already. One good thing is the relatives that don't have your address can't just look in the book to send out invites for the bring a present parties. -
Looks great Mike. The whole top in gold would have been fine as this is a big car. Is there going to be gold and black writing on the doors?

5 years ago here in Michigan I got to see him live. Good show. Buddy Guy opened the show.

Get up to the counter at Meijer put my goodies on the belt and half through my order the Cashier asks for my ID. What I ask? What did I buy that needs an ID at 56? I found the movie Cannonball Run for 5 bucks on DVD. The couple behind me around the same age also got a chuckle out of it.

Lamborghini: The man behind the legend
1930fordpickup replied to PowerPlant's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
The Hollywood movie makers have always had a hard time making movies about cars. Maybe that is why they like the EV'S so much. How many times have 5 and 6 hubcaps flew off of a car in a chase scene? How about when a car goes sliding in a corner and they use a different car for the stunt. not even the same brand of car. It had 4 doors anyway. -

You can't tell a story about the cars without talking about the Man himself. Most cars don't have 1.5 hours of interesting conversation for a movie to make money on. If you want a story about the Miura, that is a 30 minute after school special. Don't forget just because we would love an in depth movie on our favorite car, that swill not pay the bills. -

I stopped it to the Monroe MI store on Thursday and there were 4 boxes on the floor filled with stuff for that Isle. A large number of robots models and a few of the rehash same old kits I already have. I looked through all of the boxes. LOL -
One of the best crank grinders here in the Toledo Area, left for a NASCAR engine builder 20 to 25 years ago. One small machine shop (that did great work) closed when the employees left to make double the money at the Railroad. I am not even sure where you take an engine around here to get it reworked. The crate engines with a warranty put most out around here along with the newer cars lasting longer. If the old cranky guys don't hire and teach young guys it will never change. They are looking around here for kids in the trades. When you don't hire new guys for 20 to 25 years and the guys that work all of the overtime they can retire who is there? When I graduated high school in 84 no one was hiring in the trades. you had to wait about 4 to 5 years for that influx of newer people. Some places still have a retirement at 30 years, even if they don't the body can only work for so long before you are worn out.
