  1. Bill, more gas for us. ?? Though folks at Aramco say there’s no surplus supply. Seems like a them/OPEC problem. Grid here untouched since a few hundred people died last winter. What could go wrong?
  2. I’ve never seen one without it, did they?
  3. Ghia did nice stuff for ages. Iirc red car is Ghia D’Elegance. Agree Bill.
  4. Pam figure won’t fit in box though ?
  5. They’re more worried about liability, and if tradename becomes colloquial, they can lose control. Toy looks like Vette. Kid eats Vette part, chokes. GM and toy co sued. Nope. Or, the funniest one, Piech/Audi buys Rolls/Bentley. Rolls doesn’t own Rolls name, aircraft division does. BMW buys name from RR Aero. Whizzes in Piech’s cereal. Big lawyer money, so less greedy corps, more greedy lawyers.
  6. 68-9 Coronet ht, 69 cvt, F85 Streaker, Bronco Raptor, 65 Mustang 2+2, 65 GTO convert freshening, updated 454SS, maybe 3500, long/step beds, and….
  7. Kinda buried the service block in verbiage. 40w oil changes prob not great for cold starts either.
  8. Ghia 6.4L Bill. Has your name on it. ?
  9. Polynesian is a famous custom. Pretty epic.
  10. Yup. Hard to sell last of F40’s, lots of cars. Desirable now doesn’t mean demand new. 2 seat T-Birds died and 4 seaters doubled sales. Lightnings didn’t sell great, Raptors insane sales.
  11. Things are rare sometimes because nobody wanted them in first place.
  12. Nope. Combinations can be copyrighted. Peugeot has #0#, Porsche couldn’t call the 901 that, so 911 born. Same with GT350, A6, 340i, etc.
  13. I bet if you ask in that forum someone likely may have one ??
  14. Does this kit have the thin 5-spoke mags like original? I’ve heard about slots, but not those.
  15. Weld a cup holder on them, keeps coffee hot.
  16. Agree the Datsun is 1200, early 70’s. Way off in distance it might be a later Corvair on L, and a 68-70 Charger on R Agree on Caprice coupe and the 62-64 GM HT, Impala/Pontiac/Buick/Olds. No Cad ht like that. I don’t see any badges. ?
  17. The original GTO kit and promos had good HL and grilles. I posted some in that thread. I have every hope this cloned kit will be proper, maybe separate HL, but if not they’re fine. TL ribs was a hope fulfilled.
  18. Thanks yet again Tim. Great pics. Fun stuff, and lots of other associated kits implied by these efforts. I’ve got many original issues, but will dig out my wallet to pop many of these. New Bronco looks great too. Thanks @Steve G and R2 gang. Nice calls. More to come I’m sure.
  19. Cloning could involve a stock body for later as well, may make sense. Because stock. R2 not overlooking much at all. Good times.
  20. @Don Sikora IImentioned on page 1. Lol. Tim said we’d freak, as in Street Freak, though this kit never made it into that series, though that’s exactly what it is. Cutlass awb prob coming, and someone mentioned the Edsel funny, which used the chassis too. Dunno about that sales wise. Fun thread.
  21. Yes it was solid gamble. Cutlass, GTO, Nova, all solid. As is Coronet cv, trailers, 66 Mustang, Black Beauty,… Killing it @Steve G and friends. Mystery kit should be fun.
  22. Bit of a leap from what I actually wrote to 40yo kits etc. Not implied or sanctioned I meant lots of body styles never modeled
  23. Thanks for doing 65 GTO ht btw. Didn’t mean to step on your lines in other thread. Happy you guys found it, I always wondered what happened to it since Cvt turned into Mod Stocker then back. Separate HL too I saw on other board. ??
