Friend has ex coast guard diesel. Minty. I know the wb stuff, I’m a fan. Just with so many body styles, duplicating one (that’s on market now) seemed odd. I’ve got a couple unbuilt Monogram 88’s, hope they can do a 90 off new tool since 88 has disappeared for decades.

Odd thing is that Landy done by Italeri as 109. Guess 110 version ok, but don’t quite understand overlap. Corrado a G60? I don’t recall if they kitted VR6. Decent resin one around though.

Corrado !!!!! Woot.

Another ‘What is this, please?’

Wraparound 3rd row too. Needs a bar for mom and dad hauling kids. Burled wood grain needed I’d think too. Pimptacular. -
The original HL were decent. Convert had visors. Anything later than the 74 ish Mod Stocker is a mess. The 1965 was on bumpers for annual and I think tiger stripe box. After that it said AMT. Mark knows. Here’s original kit/promo FB

Or they found the 65 promo tool? 65 kit has always been a cvt with add on ht, but promo was honest ht iirc. If it has original bumper that’s a plus. Here’s pic of original promo ht

Johan 67 Eldorado
keyser replied to chris chabre's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I’d agree with Mark. 67 is a one year mold. Has wipers on cowl. 68-on had hidden wipers. 70 kits not too hard to find, and far cheaper. Not much change in parts like Mark said. -
They have a ton of PE for Impalas,MC, 65 Riv,… Lowrider stuff but a lot of stock stuff too. Even PE for Mk1 Golf/Rabbits. Thanks, great stuff. Now looking for 1:1 sticker “No Airbags We Die Like Real Men” ???

Big diff between wants and needs. Only a waste of money if you can’t afford basic needs. Otherwise it’s fun money. “I spent half my money on gambling, alcohol and wild women. The other half I wasted.” WC Fields

Not out yet. Just test shots/3-d mock-ups

Donut boxed RM’s were low point. Amazed more weren’t crushed, but shrink wrap only thing keeping them together. Johan flat boxes were great, just hard to get stuff back in the box again. The sci-fi boxes are all over the map, as are aircraft. That doesn’t seem to be issue, and big box stores ignore them mostly

Current building techniques

Excellence in 1:1 autos is “variable” we’d agree. Especially with esoteric stuff (Plessy pump anyone?). Part of issue is people, myself included, don’t finish stuff. Thus moving cars from shop to shop not done, or frequent visits unannounced. That’s likely cause of some umbrage, inability to close deal. No prize for you. ??♂️??? -

Hey Bill. It seemed more of a “why aren’t building to a higher level (scratch/brass/opening/etc. ). I had a oh heaven's to Betsy! moment and reread it. New poster with opener like that? Similar to thinking someone is smartest guy in the room. Chances are, not. ???♂️ -

Agree with Steve, Bill, others. Looking in WIP and Under Glass probably advisable before asking board why no one does X-builds anymore. People get ill, burned-out, die, divorced, life changes (you’ve left a couple times it seems), or just need change. Presumptuous to use absolutes imo. As long as they’re having fun, I don’t care how people build, but I try to learn from them. Even if we don’t always agree, it’s nice to share stuff. Be happy you have health and motivation to build. That’s a lot. -
Some pretty stellar builders in that bunch. Stockers, endurance, all of it. Welcome.

If only someone could clone one….??

Just take it back, or sell it. Not worth aggravation, trust me. Give it to a kid that won’t care. Kens/Karen’s waste their time. life is too short. (No, you’re not a Karen, it’s valid complaint. But nothing changes it. Sry.)

Agree. Anymore angry is default. Sigh. Thank the nice people in your lives. That said, a noob getting one of these kits wouldn’t buy another from the brand. ??♂️??

Anyone deal with Motor City Resin Casters?
keyser replied to gbtr6's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Most of the undelivered orders constitutes mail/wire fraud. Esp since product delivery ongoing at shows. I’ve seen this happen repeatedly over decades with various vendors. Needs to get same response from wronged customers. I don’t know Kevin, so not personal. Start here https://www.wikihow.com/Report-Mail-Fraud?amp=1 -
Are they shipped bagged, boxed later?

What did you see on the road today?

I resemble that remark. Upside I was only 5. Yeah stripe doesn’t make it S. But Commando badge and nice wheel choice gives hope. ?? -

Lol. Both Dragon E36 M3’s, a red car shelf, and a ton of other stuff. Good by me. Only messy if you can’t find anything. ???
