  3. Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!
  4. Funny, to me it seems to be exactly the other way round. Nobody will complain if your alternator has a bracket but you'll hear about it if it doesn't.
  5. Nice!!! Good detail, good finish, good everything.
  6. This is really nice work! Your detail painting is exceptional; the emblems in the wheels and dash in particular. I could have used your skills doing the dash on a Johan Merc last year.
  7. I once absent-mindedly put a burning cigarette into what I thought was the ashtray. When I looked back I saw to my horror that I'd actually put it in the similar-sized tin lid where I was keeping the painted and detailed small parts of a Fujimi kit I was working on. (I don't smoke anymore.)
  8. Wow, great displays, wish I'd been there. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Thanks a lot for that, pix from shows are always appreciated.
  10. That BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH looks much more offensive than what I actually wrote!
  11. I'm 63 and I can remember when petrol was...um....er..... ...BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, I can't even remember what I had for lunch!
  12. You're off to a great start! As a Johan fan I'm really looking forward to seeing this unfold. Don't recall ever seeing the kit before.
  13. So this new system has been in effect well over a month now. I haven't noticed that more sellers are willing to allow overseas bids, only that average shipping costs have risen even further in that time.
  14. Beautifully done! Great colours. Another Johan favourite.
  15. Assuming it's in your "airspace", I wonder what your legal position would be if you brought one of those drones down.
  16. That came out great! Nice colours and I like the white-wall "delete".
  17. Wow, stunning combo - specially considering that the snap kit and diecast are pretty basic items off the shelf.
  18. Unless you really like resin you might look for the 80s X-EL reissue. It has the same bits but the grille and bumpers are chrome and the tail lights translucent red.
  19. Wonderful! Those wire wheels really add to the realism.
  20. Nice work, specially the interiors! I bet you've been to Mulhouse.
  21. Amazing conversion, really impressive - I would have guessed 1.16th or bigger.
  22. Nice work! Always liked that box illustration and you really nailed it. Pontiac mill looks right at home in there.
  23. In my experience, the more parts the suspension has, the more likely I'll struggle to get the stance right. Which is exactly what's happening on my bench right now with a Fujimi Ferrari Daytona. Next up, Johan's 62 Dodge - metal axles rule!
  24. Enjoyed that, thanks.
