  1. That is really beautifully done! I also have this promo and it's one of my most prized possessions.
  2. Did anyone ever make PE or decal scripts for Johan/XEL's 56 DeSoto and Plymouth re-released promos? Or does anyone do this sort of thing to order?

    '55 Chevy

Great looking model and excellent outdoor pics.

    1955 Dodge

Great looking model! And you won't see another one very often.
  5. That should BE the box art model!
  6. That will surely be the main concern down the line. Plus I don't fancy a world where all truck drivers are unemployed and grumpy.
  7. I always enjoy show photos (partly because I never get to go myself) and these are the best I've ever seen. Thanks Steve!
  8. Nice work Adam, I like it! While I wouldn't build a model of this sort of car, I love it when someone else does. And personally I don't think it's all that boring - it's good and functional 80s industrial design. And the Prelude was definitely one of the better looking cars of the era. If I hadn't had children I would have bought one myself
  9. Wow! Beautifully done!
  10. Well done Jim! Forums live from contributors, not from silent onlookers. (And you've posted some great models along the way.)
  11. Excellent! I have this kit and it does look pretty scary.
  12. Beautiful model, I'd love to have it in my own cabinet! (Hope things come right for you soon Tulio.)
  13. That looks fantastic and I agree with the others about the wheel choice.
  14. Great colour combo and beautifully built.
  15. Fantastic, a modeling tour de force!
  16. I definitely agree that the AMT shape is way better than Revell's. Here is a promo I did a few years back and I assume the body shape of the kit was based on this. It looked very accurate to me, even the roof (but when someone sees a problem they're nearly always right). The promo did have separate clear red tail lights, does the kit not have them? Hosted on Fotki
  17. Don't know how I missed this one. Fantastic "night and day" save, beautifully done!
  18. Something very different - and VERY nicely done.
  19. I agree, fantastic work!
  20. So nice! Nobody built them that well when they were new!
  21. Excellent! That Tamiya Dark Blue sure is dark - I like it.
  22. Very stylish and beautifully built.
  23. Incredible models, beautifully detailed and finished.
  24. Looks great! The paint job is outrageous but totally believable too.
