The NNL Nationals has no theme next year, the build a Moebius Ford pickup is a Facebook group theme organized by myself, Pat Redmond & Tom Jackson. -

The original NNL was specifically a NON contest & it has continued for almost 40 years by sticking to that format. You want judges go to a contest you want a much more casual atmosphere go to a NNL event. While I am at it any show calling itself a NNL that has judging is NOT a NNL. -

To my knowledge just about every model car event in the country is a totally seperate independent event. Each organized and run by different unrelated groups. What happens to one has no affect on any other. -

Check MCW, he offers OEM colors and at least at one time offered spray cans. Not sure if he still does or not. -
Good luck, in the last 3 or 4 years we have received about two or three issues a year.

Our Michael's is a joke
jas1957 replied to Lizard Racing's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
First off every Michael’s I have been in has a very poor model section, forget them. Second, only 20 miles to a Hobbytown ? Consider yourself lucky. The three nearest full service hobby shops to me are 35, 39 and 53 miles away. Get used to it as that is the new reality, 20 years ago I had 6 shops within 10 miles of me. Didn’t realize how good I had it. -

Steve is a good guy to deal with, if you have any questions contact him. He has always answered mine in a timely fashion. His products are good quality, he also has an ever decreasing supply of R&R. Quality there can be spotty.

Resin. Polyester or polyurethane?
jas1957 replied to HotRodaSaurus's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Polyurethane is what resin model parts are made from. -
Good luck, I live in an urban/suburban county of 1.2 million people. There is exactly one hobby shop in this county & it is on life support. To my knowlage there are three other shops within 50 miles of my home. One of those looks like it will be closing soon. Between less & less people being involved in hobbies & internet sellers it is a VERY tough business to be in. 20 years ago I had six shops within 10 miles of me, didn't appreciate how good I had it.
