  1. Amen Tom, I have about given up with constructive criticism on FB. You ether get ripped for being a rotten MFer or told you don’t know what you are talking about. A no win ether way & I’m just trying to help a fellow modeler improve.
  2. Bet the car they photographed and measured was a HT and they just added the bolsters in later.
  3. The vertical link attached to the axle more or less like you have it. You might have them mounted upside down. I just went through this recently with a ‘34 pick up. Google ford friction shocks, a bunch of pictures on the web to give you a better idea.
  4. Yep, what he said, through most of the 1960s AMT & later MPC on almost every kit used the same interior tub for convertibles & hard tops
  5. I received my order of these wheels the other day, they are very nice & will look good on a couple planned builds.
  6. I know The Model Cave in Michigan sells them.
  7. Over the years Tamiya, Hasegawa & Fujimi have all produced Honda Civic kits. But I do not know what years they represent, the Japanese companies often do not put model years on their boxes.
  8. The Gilmore Museum in Michigan until October has a featured display on the Fisher Body Craftsmen Guild.
  9. Nice work, looking forward to seeing these in resin.
  10. Motor City Resin Casters is making a resin ‘67 Ford
  11. I didn’t see these mentioned, AMT produced the 1963 Indy 500 winning Watson & MPC produced the 1967 Indy Turbine in 1/20 scale and the 1968 Indy Lotus turbine in 1/25.
  12. I have many of the AMT model T tires, PM me your address & I will send you one.
  13. Are you going to produce these for sale ? I would be interested in a couple sets if so.
  14. Tom, go to the Grandt web site, it states someone else has purchased the entire line & is producing it. San Juan Model Co. 303-913-1601
  15. NNL Nationals #40, The Final Homecoming. This will be the last Toledo NNL Nationals. Saturday October 12, 2019, 10am-4pm, Sylvania Exhibition Center, 7060 Sylvania, OH 43560 After 40 years the longest continuously running model show in the world is coming to an end.
  16. The Parts Box from Australia has a resin hot rod V12 Lincoln engine.
  17. Unfortunately no Flathead Caddy exists in scale, (I am thinking about scratching one)
  18. Exactly what Mark says except I use CA glue.
  19. I believe it is still a going concern & it is in a strip mall in Sandy, UT.
  20. Yep, I used that chassis under an AMT ‘64 Mercury, a near perfect fit.
  21. Excellent source for vintage kits also, he goes through each open kit & documents any problems. I would recommend him to anyone.
  22. Maybe this is being picky but the drums you have pictured are 10” drums. You can clearly see where it is stamped “ MAX DIA 10.060, brake drum sizes are measured by the inside diameter.
  23. The 1/25 MPC Indy turbine car has a nice engine & it is not too big. That kit has been reissued a number of times in the last twenty years. Not hard to find for under $25.
  24. Good luck, I have received I think four issues in the last two years.
  25. Yep, what he said, WAY back 1970s maybe Monogram purchased many of the Aurora tools after they went out of business. Did they get them all ? Were these included ? Questions I have wondered about for 30 years, I know I would love to see them again as originals are regularly selling for $70-$120 a piece. We can only hope & maybe contact Atlantis & express our wishes.
