The IMC GT was tough. I am getting ready to assemble what i think will be my most challenging build. The Tamiya McLaren MP4/4 WITH the Top Studio super detail set. At 1/20th scale my eyes will be a tad happier but if you've never seen this detail kit perhaps a quick Google will show you exactly what I'm up against. As far as a plain OOB kit, IMC and old Revell.

Wow........Hollywood is calling dude. That thing looks like it was in some Sci Fi movie. Very cool.

Since I'm on eBay daily I have similar experiences. It pays to be persistent and stick to your guns. Eventually you get what you want at the price point you're comfortable with. I collect vintage skateboards and comics, I watch closely for trends and stay away from them. It's paid off almost every time.

I have the earlier version [85?] in white on white wheels waiting to be finished and I just love that kit. Yours is a stunner and very realistic.

Mix up some light bronze metallic and have at it. There is no way that weave will be rendered in 1/24 convincingly. If it is I think it'll be a waste of effort to apply it only to have to use a magnifying glass to appreciate it.

That looks great! You nailed the paint on the decklid. I built this and my body was warped and things went like yours did. I perservered.

Stunning in every way. I build Maschinen Krieger and can see that if you decided to you'd build those very well also. Very creative and that's what makes it appealing.

For most of my life a green HD other than a real war torn W model was considered bad luck. I won't own a green HD. Got me a white one.

I had an early 80's Quattro back in the day. Loved it till I got Malachi crunched at a stoplight. Very nice color combo Mark.
