  1. My pleasure. I use that technique quite a bit to clean up lines. I did the headlight buckets on my Reher Morrison car the first time I realized that ammonia removes Acrylic paint. i got super tight separation and those buckets look good. I use it for panel lines as well. I also used this technique for the blue/white seats in my Malco Gasser mustang. By using Duplicolor enamel for the white base i was able to use Tamiya metallic blue for the blue tuck and roll for a very clean appearance. Go with what works, find new ways of doing things. Keep on truckin.
  2. I tend to get a good pic of what I'm working on and custom mix the shade myself. Those MM paints are OK, but man are they thick!
  3. Chris, what I would do for a truly sharp line that is also easy is this. Overfill the grill with Acrylic paint and then wipe away with a tightly balled rag with a 50/50 solution of water/ammonia. It'll be straight and perfect.
  4. Good looking Ford there. Oh, welcome back Jeff..........

  9. I always considered these AMT cartoon kits to be clunky when compared to Dave Deal and T Daniel kits. However, in this case I am digging it.
  10. If this kit had gauge decals it would be perfect in my eyes.

  17. I just looked at the entire build and I was thoroughly entertained. That's what a good WIP should do. Harry, it's a sweet looking Tram.

  21. Great build. I built this a while back and I must say that these old Monogram kits are just the best.
  22. No pics on that one. It's in storage and may be for quite a while. If I dig it out I'll finish it and you'll see it at that point.
