Saw it this afternoon, very entertaining...great visually and an all-in-all enjoyable film. Came out of the theatre and there was a red '05-06 Ford GT parked out by itself at the edge of the parking lot. Rare to see one on the street, esp. in November in Cleveland..

It's both from the future and inspired by 70s-80s concept cars. It reminds me of things I drew at age 10 in 1980...Musk and I share the same birthday, he must have been inspired by the same concepts. Looks like could be in Knight Rider or Robocop.

The problem I've had the 3 Autumns I've been here is the house to my north is unoccupied--it was in a trust, the owners passed about a decade ago, and their son drops by once in a while (it sold back in the summer and is now getting remodeled)...so no one picks up the leaves. Though most of the leaves in their driveway and front yard come from my tree (huge oak in my front yard a couple feet from the property line).

That happened to me the last couple years after the last leaf pickup. The city leaf vacuum truck came down my street about a 1/2 hr ago, so the huge pile out front is gone. But there are still many leaves in the oaks in front and in back, so there is still work to be done.

I like Oregon..I need to get out there and see an old coworker buddy of mine that lives in Beaverton (we worked together in the 00s when we both lived in Denver). I love the coast, places like Cannon Beach, Seaside, Astoria, and driving up the Columbia River Gorge...

My leaf pile on the tree lawn gets bigger and bigger. I've seen signs they are picking up leaves this week, but I saw the city vacuum truck go down my street yesterday and they didn't stop...

Yeah...I'd love to see cars like the Audi S4, S5, S7, S8, BMW M3, M4, M5, M8.... MB sedans and coupes, etc.

Those would be interesting, Current Porsches would be nice--the only kit out there is the Panamera. I'd like to see more down to earth stuff like current Audis, BMWs, Mercs....

I'd really like to see them do more modern European stuff, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Those new parts look great. The parts I've bought so far are for future projects. I'm very slow at getting around to building anything.

If memory serves me, my folks first RV in the late 70s had those hubcaps on the front...it was a 21 ft Mobile Traveler Class C with a '73 Dodge Sportsman van cab.

Those look neat. I believe the Dodge vans of that era used those also?

The first issue of the Revell 5th gen Camaro concept was in a normal size box w the kit in silver on the box. Over a decade ago IIRC.

Looking forward to it.... probably going to go this weekend. Watching 'The 24 Hour War' documentary now...about the same story. I enjoyed the book Go Like Hell. Watched the documentary Ferrari: Road to Immortality earlier this evening, excellent documentary about Ferrari racers in the late 50s...lots of great period Formula 1 and Le Mans footage.

Looking forward to seeing it, not sure if it will be this weekend or next. Have a great theater only a couple miles from me (Cinemark) with reserved seating, great sound, recliner seats.

I'm not sure if it's an eBay thing or a PayPal thing, but sometimes the tax seems to rolled into one PayPal transaction with the purchase price and shipping, and other times it appears as a separate charge.

I've been on several different prescription sleeping pills over the years, never had any luck w/ over the counter sleep aids. I used to have horrible insomnia and I was a night owl in college and grad school, but in my corporate life have always been a relatively early riser. I know if I don't take them, I can't go to sleep. I'd love to be able to sleep without meds. Never had sleep walking or sleep driving...that's scary.

eBay has been inconsistent w sales tax collection since they started collecting it a while back. I’ve found I don’t get a sales tax charge on international purchases like this, but sometimes do from US sellers.

I remember seeing it at B&N in Scottsdale maybe 5 years ago.. but I've subscribed for about 10 years now.

Surprised it's not in a Coke livery.
