  1. Never knew there was such a thing until your post! Neat. I like Peeps once a year in small quantities...
  2. Maybe 6-7 years ago one morning I was driving to work in Tempe, AZ and passed a Weinermobile going over the bridge at Tempe Town Lake. That's the only time I've ever seen one..
  3. Other performance subjects that would be great in kit form are the current Mustang GT, Shelby GT350 and GT500, and of course the new Corvette C8. Cadillac V-series models, or modern pickups and SUVs would be great also... I'd love some current Jeeps in kit form...Wrangler, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee (esp. the Hellcat-equipped Trackhawk)..
  4. And they are very nice...I got a couple of the engines and the conversion kit.
  5. Those were nice kits, but unfortunately, that is the past generation from over a decade ago... and the Revell Challenger kits are way out of date also. It is unfortunate, I'd love to see more new subjects kitted...the 'all old, all the time' approach of the US kit companies works for them but gets pretty boring after a while for those of us that also like modern subjects.
  6. Model Roundup has them both for preorder for January release, other vendors probably have them for preorder also.
  7. Yeah, within about an hour of each other. I'm looking forward to going to the Motor City event next year since Toledo is no more...
  8. We had a chain here in the Cleveland area called Pat Catan’s, Michaels bought them and closed them. It’s too bad, one was about a mile from my house and I used their framing services to get some artwork framed when I moved into my current house. They also stocked model cars.
  9. Hmmm. I was there and saw the LR kit prototype parts, don’t recall seeing a box, but found a pic in Tim’s NNL Motor City pics. Good to know..
  10. I'm sure there will be some diecast... for kits, only Fujimi seems plausible..but I think their Ferrari p330 is a later year maybe? I've seen a bunch of merch already, mostly posters and t-shirts.
  11. Watched it this afternoon. DeNiro, Pacino, Pesci and Kietel. Long, episodic drama about various real life mobsters and Jimmy Hoffa. Very good, lots of neat old cars in various scenes.
  12. I wonder if they will do a Revell US release, all the parts crammed in a US style box?
  13. Ya...a friend posted this on FB... so true... I'm so used to ordering so much online....it's hard to beat the convenience of ordering anytime from my phone, tablet or computer and having product come to me than having to go out and deal with crowds and people in stores, esp. this time of year.
  14. Yes....’The Irishman’ has a lot of neat old cars also.
  15. Yes, but updated w/ new wheels, push bar, light bar, decals.
  16. eBay seller 'shop_us_store' is where I bought mine..not sure if it's the same vendor or not. Ringtop Ltd in Chesterfield, S. Yorkshire, UK. The box was slightly creased, but RoG one-piece boxes are awful to begin with... too bad they don't switch to Japanese-style two-piece boxes...
  17. And the bench seat and column shift.
  18. MPC made kits of both the coupe and convertible, AMT made a coupe kit only. Not sure about the promos. The MPC '70 convertible is weird, molded in glow in the dark plastic and called the 'Bat Machine' on the box art..found a restorable glue bomb one in its box at an antique store in Glendale, AZ close to 20 years ago..I found an MPC coupe kit on eBay about 15 years ago..
  19. Yeah, I have one that I was converting to a convertible years ago and filled in the decklid, never finished it after finding an MPC '70 convertible kit.
  20. Yeah, I remember seeing an old time locomotive in an older AMT catalog, maybe they can reissue it with a Coke livery.
  21. MCW makes a '70 Impala Sport Coupe, which appears a bit off compared to this photo as far as the side window shape. I wonder if the roof from the AMT '70 Wildcat would be a good starting point for the C-pillars and back window.
  22. I guess their wasn’t enough space under the hood. The earlier 427 ones had that hood w the earlier front end, as did the 454 ones.
  23. I like the styling of the mid '70s Iso Grifo, which had a Ford 351 Cleveland.
  24. Yeah, not that many different parts from the SS coupe..body, hood, rear glass, interior side panels, rear package shelf, wheels, bumpers. grille, taillight panel.
  25. I can't recall, did the annual have those? I have the AMT '67 ht and convertible annuals, but not handy so I can check them...
