  1. Column shift automatic IIRC..the shifter is visible in this still from the movie.
  2. Saw the movie when it first debuted on Netflix last year..was quite good.. I remember the gold Fiero and Todd's El Camino in it, Skinny Pete and Badger had a big early 70s Thunderbird in green IIRC...can't find it on the IMCDB listing for the movie. Edit: it was a blue '72. https://breakingbad.fandom.com/wiki/1972_Ford_Thunderbird Looking forward to the upcoming season of the prequel Better Call Saul on AMC, starting back on the 23rd I think...saw a trailer for the upcoming season, looks like Nacho still has the red Javelin... I assume this season is when Jimmy/Saul ditches the decrepit Suzuki Esteem for the late 90s Caddy DeVille... Always enjoyed Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul...great writing and acting...interesting characters, love the locations...New Mexico/Albuquerque reminds me a lot of Colorado Springs and south central Colorado where I used to live..
  3. Looking forward to it..going to try and attend this year.
  4. Yes, that’s the pic I was thinking of. If I had an extra 68 CdV and ‘68 Impala I’d like to use the formal Caddy roofline to approximate a ‘68 Impala custom coupe.
  5. Neat...this reminds me of a Photoshop image of a '67 CDV w/ the fastback roofline that's been making the rounds on FB for years.
  6. Yes, the Revell promotional/box art photos for the new issue of the '29 show the Hallibrand style wheels.
  7. That's neat..never seen something like that...looks like Walmart was testing them in Canada, calling them a Supercube. Interesting also that the cab is a COE, something rarely seen in the US today. Here is a moving van one with a sleeper also.
  8. Got the US rebox of the RoG Land Rover Series III 109. Biggest difference I’ve noticed is it is molded in white instead of gray. Same instructions and decal sheet. Box is smaller so it’s hard to get everything to fit back in after opening.
  9. I bought 2, one to do each version...and have the extra intake for something else...
  10. https://mailchi.mp/modelcarsmag/model-cars-magazine-2020-update-2692709?fbclid=IwAR3y7ocbWNFUVrVYdzw3Tf8PfBql_r3YeVoY7msH3wBR-w2iC0yX4brL1ss
  11. This look like the same parts the '78 came with...I built the MPC '78 Camaro as a kid and remember the racing parts.
  12. There was a dump truck only version of this kit in the early 70s..never seen one, but I assume it's the same dump body as the snowplow, without the snowplow-specific features?
  13. An AWB Belvedere sedan would be a neat variation to see...
  14. Sharp build...love the wheels and engine.
  15. Exactly...the problem is a lot of people today are deeply ignorant, have no comprehension of science, and are resistant to facts...
  16. Well, that would be new. There never was a '66 Nova wagon kit. There was a '63, but it got butchered into a funny car.
  17. Or just another reissue w/ Coca-Cola decals. I'm not expecting anything actually new...
  18. Mitsuoka has a history of taking ordinary modern cars and applying vintage styling cues...like the Viewt, it was a Nissan Micra restyled with some elements of '60s Jaguar sedans. https://www.mitsuoka-motor.com/global/lineup/
  19. I wonder if they permanently modified the tooling..I don't recall seeing a stock reissue since they did the monster truck version..
  20. Round 2 wouldn't do it, but I'd love to see someone do a kit of the current Volvo V90..beautiful wagon..
  21. Yes, with a bit of polish and extra preparation the videos could be considerably better.
  22. There were De There were DeSotos in the 40s with hidden headlights. Not sure about before the Cord, though.
  23. Some of my favorite films w/ him were 'Seven Days in May' with Burt Lancaster, 'Tough Guys' with Burt, 'Out of the Past' w/ Robert Mitchum and of course 'Spartacus'.
