Ah, Rabbit Car. Good to see that one back.. was a neat little kit.

Got my first parts from ZForce Modelworx in the mail today, pretty nice. Note the tires are not flexible but a hard material. Have a couple earlier Chevy grilles and another wheel/tire set on order.

I have a nicely built one in my stash. Those old annuals were pretty simple but I love them. -

Looking forward to planting more trees and shrubberies this year...planted a bunch of evergreens the last two summers, want to plant more this year. I find working in my yard very relaxing.

Certainly more credible than anything from Fox News.. Rolling Stone has long been known as a source of good long-form journalism. -

Maybe Plamoz? They make a Dakota R/T wheel. https://plamoz.com/products/125-dakota-rt-style-20-wheels-set-on-line-store-limited-edition -
After 50+ years I can't imagine there are too many people that remember or care about Corvairs...seems like odd timing, a few decades late..

Changing Times, Changing Tastes

I started feeling old when early 90s grunge/alternative rock from my college years started being referred to as Classic Rock on radio... -

Very odd about the interest in brass era cars. Maybe something related to the interest in Edison bulbs, artesianal beards, craft drinks, etc? Were I to dabble in car collecting it would be the cars of my youth--80s cars, maybe with a couple 70s cars.. -
I built the MPC '87 and '88 kits back in the day, doing the '87 in red to match my 1:1.

I figure whatever will come out will come out when it does. As vague as possible.

I don't think there are any precise dates for any Round 2 releases for Spring/Summer yet.

I have a couple on preorder at Model Roundup. I’m sure they will show up eventually.

Such is the nature of the internet...topics take unexpected directions at times...

Can't think of any either right off.... For 1/25th scale glue kits, there were a number of Monogram branded new tools in the early 90s, inexplicably. The first issues of the '59 Chevys, '59 Cadillacs, and '65 Impala come to mind...always wondered they didn't have the Revell branding like other new tooling after the Revell-Monogram merger...

Not changing the clocks was something I did like about living in AZ. Here in EST it always throws off my sleep for a few nights. But I do like that it stays daylight later in the evening during DST....

I need to dig out my '64 Cutlasses, they are still in storage. The hardtop I have is painted a maroon all over..the front fenders had been broken off and re-attached...I need to restore it. My convertible was brush painted Testors light blue, was in decent shape. I'm looking forward to the reissue, though, probably get 3-4, one to build stock, one to make a ht by using the roof from the '65 GTO (have several of those roofs around), one to build as a street machine w/ the engine and hood options, and one for parts for the MCW '65 ht.

I would suspect Round 2 is working on a variety of things that will be released in the future (besides the countless Coca-Cola issues).

People don't even look at the parts layout on the box. I saw a post on a FB group last week about a guy that bought the recent AMT '63 Impala reissue and thought it would be all-new and was disappointed.

As far as I can tell the only noticeable differences on the exterior were the dual exhaust and tiny badges on the front fenders. Don't know if there were any interior differences. I've read that the 442 package was even available on the 4dr sedan in '64, seem to recall seeing one in Muscle Car Review magazine decades ago...
