Yes...one site listing says waterslide decals, so maybe it comes with a minimal set.

The two I got from Model Roundup arrived fine, but they are very tightly packed...as are most Moebius models I've found... I hesitate to unpack them, not sure if I can everything back in the box...

It's very sad..I'd never fly in a helicopter or small plane...they have crash rates far too high compared to big jets.

No idea what they have planned next, but a '63 Fury 2dr ht and Savoy 2dr sedan would be nice, maybe a '63 Dodge 2dr sedan... or '62 versions of those; or a series of '61-71 style Dodge pickups. Over on the Ford side, a '61-63 F-series pickup, an early Econoline pickup and van would be cool also.

Maybe kitbash the two and build a Chevy powered Lockheed Veaa funny plane...

Some may be visible in this pic of the kit and box art I saw posted in an FB group yesterday. Front bumper, wheels and tires look like stock items instead of the off road style in the previous issue..looks like maybe a stock rollbar/rollcage.... Here is what a stock early-00s Wrangler Rubicon would look like...

The product description on vendor sites says it's the Procar version..I suspect at the time they announced the reissue they didn't have the specific livery licenses worked out, or they will release it with a phony livery or blank (which seems odd).

No, this LUV is the Monogram 1/24th kit, not the Revell one. Googling turned up the original box art, it shows the engine on the side of the box, can't tell what it is from this angle..I'd assume a 4cyl.

I’ve never had the LUV kit, from the pics it looks like it has a separate hood. What is the engine in this kit?

This (green box art below) was the styrene kit version a few years ago from this tool.. stock bumpers and stock size tires and wheels would be nice, along with a stock roll bar..this kit had an odd non-stock rollbar that I presume came from the Tomb Raider metal body kit.

Hmmm...haven't seen that movie in a long time, but I recall Hackman & Defoe having a dark blue '64 Impala w/ a creaky driver's door...

Nice to see the El Camino and LUV...never had the LUV kit, and have one version of the El Camino from 20 years ago.

One can only assume the '68 tooling was modified to make the '69...that was the standard industry approach back then....true with many kit subjects, that's why there are so many '69 reissues of various AMT or MPC subjects and not '67 or '68 reissues...

When I lived in AZ, I used to go to Barrett-Jackson most every year, and occasionally to the RM auction and Gooding & Company auction... spent hours wandering around the tents and inside looking at the cars....some looked really good up close, some were 10 ft cars, some 20 ft cars. Some had wavy panels with paint overspray on the trim, etc... a wide range of quality.

The deep wheels are still in the box also (CHP Monaco)..I think I may get a set of the slotted police style wheels and hub caps from Fireball Modelworks. The new parts Round 2 included aren't the '77-78 style.

I don't think so, I think the only '64 and '65 Chevelle annual kits were the wagon and El Camino. The 2dr ht was only available in Craftsman form.

Yeah, the Wagoneer was available as a 2dr up through 1968. There was also a 2dr sedan delivery/panel version. Don't think I've ever seen an early 2dr. Then in '74 they brought out a 2dr Cherokee, with a different side window treatment than the older 2drs. This lasted through '83 until the XJ Cherokee came out for '84.

Wowza... that is seriously cold. I may be coming up to Alberta for a few days next year...a friend here in Ohio (from Calgary) has his wedding planned for Lake Louise...next January. I've been invited, but January in Alberta makes January in Cleveland seem like Miami.

Probably would be best to start fresh..the Honcho kit is a bit on the simplified and crude side.

The Velocter N would be cool...or the Kia Stinger GT.
