Last orders from 2019 came today, from USCP a set of Work Rezax II 18 inch wheels and tires and a Sharp boombox, and from Model Roundup the latest Moeibus Ford pickups.

Not really into Coke merchandise, but I've long liked Coke and Cherry Coke...also liked the Mexican market Coke that I got in Arizona. Though I don't drink very much in the way of sodas anymore, maybe once or twice a week at most.

I have the kits to eventually do a kitbash of the Monaco and Charger to do a phantom '71 Charger 4dr R/T...since Chargers are 4drs today, I think it would be fun to do a what if '71 4dr...

The Bay window T2 bus will be nice...also noticed the T1 camper, that will be a nice variation-...from the photo it looks like it's a Kombi w/ a popup camper top and camping interior gear...

I still have a scar on my right thumb from an exacto knife cut 30+ years ago...was a teenager building the Revell '59 Ford Skyliner kit, and sliced my thumb deeply and it bled for a while...I remember running around the house screaming about cutting my aorta

I can't think right off of a single 1968 annual that still exists today in it's original form...pretty much all '68 annuals were retooled into 1969 versions. So '68s haven't been reissued countless times like many 1969 annuals... (the Johan '68 Cadillac convertible, '68 Chrysler 300 and '68 Fury are the only ones I can think of that were reissued in the last 40 years, but they are long gone now).

police, etc versions though would require tooling a 4dr sedan body, glass and base interior, since police cars were Biscayne or Bel Air 4dr sedans.

I could see mixing the hood, grille, taillight panel and bench seat from the 4dr with the 2dr to make a base 2dr Impala. Though not sure if that would be distinctive enough from the SS 427 to get attention beyond the lunatic fringe..

...and new hood, rear window, front and rear bumpers/grille, wheels...

Depends on what you are building....hatch or convertible? The MPC/AMT '87-88 kit is the only GT hatchback kit of that era, and the Monogram is the only GT convertible of that era. The Monogram '91 and '92 convertible kits had those wheels (the '91-92 5 spoke wheels). There are pros and cons to both kits--the MPC has chrome molded headlights and the taillights molded in, the Monogram is 1/24th but has separate headlight and taillight lenses.

I believe that to be true for 2dr and 4dr sedans in general going way back, but 2dr and 4dr hardtops in the 50s-60s were often different...

Dropped in the local Ollies...they had lots of toys, very few models..they had a maybe 5 kits on the shelves, the only one that got my attention was the AMT (ex-ERTL) International Transtar 4300 Eagle for $19.99. I do dabble in heavy trucks, never had this kit, so got it..

Yeah, the Modelhaus did some really neat Forward Look Mopars. I also have the '57 DeSoto hardtop, '60 Chrysler New Yorker 2dr, '60 Plymouth Savoy 4dr sedan, '61 Dodge Seneca 2dr sedan, and a '62 Chrysler Newport 4dr sedan from them also.

I see her posting on Facebook in some modeling groups occasionally. I have a 1/2 dozen or so of her built kits I bought off eBay maybe 15 years ago, all with vinyl tops..

Photos I've seen of the built up chassis make me think of a dirt sprint car missing bodywork or some sort of baja off road vehicle w/ different tires..very thick bars on the roll cage... it looks like an odd one..

Beautiful build. I need to build mine eventually, have it and the Modelhaus '57 hardtop in my stash.

I've heard speed bumps or speed humps referred to as 'traffic calming devices' in general. Here in the Cleveland area, we have natural traffic calming devices called 'potholes', but they go away temporarily after orange barrel season.

I seem to recall there was a high profile lawsuit involving a fire from a rear collision w/ a '78-81 Malibu 2dr.

My sister had a '76 Runabout for her first car...got it new, drove it through college...by the time she moved to Arizona in 1980 it was pretty rusty and worn out...got hit twice in parking lots driving cross country and had big dents in the door, hood and grille was broken out...traded it for a used '77 Datsun 280Z. Haven't seen a Pinto in ages..

In the trailer I also noticed what appeared to be a dark green DBS and the new Vantage...should be a fun flick.
