  1. That's February 2007, I think...seriously, the site hasn't been updated in at least a decade or so...those are all items RR had back in the late 00s.
  2. I wonder when they will release the various Star Trek and Space: 1999 models in Coca-Cola livery.
  3. Who knows..keep in mind the original post in this thread is from over 10 years ago. I can see how they could use the DOH/CC Charger body and trim with one of their funny car chassis and engines to build this, though...
  4. Yes, you can't exclusively rely on tools to get your prose correct. I just a few minutes ago saw someone confused 'quite' with 'quiet' in a car review...saying 'the interior was very quite at highway speeds'...
  5. The spell check in MS Word or whatever program the student wrote the document in found 'granite' to be valid. The problem is the student didn't know the difference between using 'granted' or 'granite'. I had a 4.0 GPA throughout high school, was in the National Honor Society, took college prep classes, and I would have found that error...but that was the 1980s, different time and place...
  6. IIRC they were Spanish Dodge 3700GTs ('60s Dart based, had a front kind of like an AMC Rebel)...the first Batman movie was filmed in the UK at Pinewood Studios IIRC...
  7. That thing that I always found weird about that one is the 'joker goons' cars' in the movie were not '77-78 Monacos...so it's bogus as a movie car.
  8. Been a while since that was out......I could see both being reissued--- Tower Hobbies has the Cameo listed for April as a Coca-Cola livery release.
  9. Nice to hear the 57 Chevy step side is coming back..hopefully with stock wheels and tires, though...IIRC, the original release only had '90s style custom wheels and wide tires..
  10. Good point..the other PP white letter tires of this era they've done were Goodyear Polyglas. Maybe they will do a parts pack w/ these.
  11. Wouldn't mind the tires by themselves, but the other parts don't interest me.
  12. I'd assume it's the same as the original 1991 issue and the 2002 reissue..builds as a regular LT-1 or a ZR-1 (the only difference as far as the kit goes IIRC are the wheels--the ZR-1 version used unplated Rallys w/o trim rings or center caps, IIRC--I have the original 1991 issue in my unbuilt stash).
  13. Yes, I read they stayed with whomever owns ERTL these days (they still make the die cast farm toys).
  14. Problem is the Ramcharger is 1/24th. There are older style parts out there in resin, but they are made to fit the MPC pickups, which were 1/25th.
  15. There are countless automotive forums and blogs out there, catering to different interests and niches. Hadn't heard of this one, will check it out. There are a number out there I've frequented for years--Autoblog, Jalopnik, Autoextremist, Allpar, Cheers & Gears, Hemmings, Jeep Forum. As far as looking at a particular site every day, I suppose Autoblog, Cheers & Gears and Jalopnik might fall in that category for me..but I get email updates/notifications for many, so I might click on them every day. Unless you are retired and bored out of your mind, most people have lives, families, jobs, lots of other interests, etc to keep them busy, so reading hobby interest content gets only a small percentage of their time per week....
  16. So that's what those are..the do look oversized on a 1/25th scale kit...
  17. The Kardashians are famous for being famous, .from their 'reality' TV series to various product endorsements and branded products, they are quite the successful marketing machine..
  18. I like his current series, Silicon Valley. His movie Idiocracy from 2006 was a fun flick, now kind of feels more like a prescient future documentary about the dumbing down of America.
  19. Neat..never seen the PNut truck...I did see an Oscar Meyer Wienermobile about 4 years ago in Tempe in traffic on the Mill Ave. bridge..
  20. Looks like the 29 roadster has been pushed back to late July according to Tower Hobbies..
  21. The '72-73 also had a 3 inch longer wheelbase than the previous version. Not sure if MPC lengthened it or not..
  22. Would be neat items for Olson Brothers resin if they wanted to expand beyond the Bronco.
  23. Got the latest Revell 4x4s in the mail yesterday. Photo won't upload.
  24. I'm getting this error again when trying to post a pic...I'm wondering if I'm hitting a size limit on total attachments...I had 125 attachments in 'My Attachments'. I'm going through and deleting some to see if it fixes the issue.
