  1. Interesting...surprised that the Polar Lights one is 1/24th..thought they only did 1/25th.
  2. Great to see them still playing after 50+ years...I saw them in '05 in Vegas and they put on a great 3 hr show.
  3. The Tamiya and Revell of Germany ones are 1/24th, Revell (US) did a 1/25th one 45+ years ago that's been reissued many times. The Polar Lights one is 1/25th.
  4. Not sure what my last Modelhaus kit will be, got the '62 Newport 4dr in the mail today, have the '61 Dodge Seneca on order. I figure I'll try and order a few more if they start taking orders again before they close for good.
  5. I've got the Testors one in my stash, haven't tried building it yet...
  6. Last years car looks great in person, saw it at Rennsport Reunion V... Would be cool to see a model of it.
  7. I had some fraudulent activity (purchases at a Best Buy and gas station in LA when I was in Phoenix) on a Bank of America Visa a couple months ago...their fraud division contacted via email and phone, cleared it up right way. I check all my accounts daily online, so nothing gets past me..
  8. Got the '62 Chrysler Newport 4dr sedan from the Modelhaus in the mail today. One more order pending, the '61 Dodge Seneca 2dr sedan.
  9. Got the '70 yesterday...yes, polished, shiny molds. Content appears much the same as the '69 at first glance, short bed, 6 cyl, steelies w/ dds, but w/ the 70 grille and the chrome rear bumper.
  10. Got the Moebius 70 Ford F100 Custom pickup kit today.
  11. The '71 Ranger XLT kit has the long bed.
  12. The shorter body (and shorter doors) is, I believe, the business coupe bodystyle (no back seat). Those appear to be 4dr sedan doors.
  13. A wrecker would be neat..or another service body... or a step side. I really want to see a crew cab, but I figure the aftermarket will do one eventually..
  14. So the '54 club coupe out now (red car on box) has the wires? Shows hubcaps on the box top.
  15. Clean...like the color combo.
  16. My mother passed yesterday...we had been somewhat estranged in recent years...got to head back to Ohio this week to help plan the funeral. She (and my older brother) got me started building models w/ snap kits over 40 years ago. She helped me w/ brush painting parts on kits as I was learning to build in the late 70s...
  17. Nothing wrong w/ constructive criticism...but say anything remotely critical and the rainbows and unicorns crowd will call it 'complaining'...
  18. Interesting that they molded the visor in place. I assume that was a separate part on that body in 1:1?
  19. Not sure if the regular issue Hudson kits are out of production except for the '53 coupe...the '52 convertible and '54 coupe seem to be still in stock at the usual online vendors.
  20. I do wonder about the wheels...when they originally announced this kit, they showed a B&W pic of a 1:1 drag car w/ Cragar SS wheels IIRC...maybe a race version will come later as an MK issue.
  21. Hudson, however, did have a straight 8, available in the Commodore. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hudson_Commodore
  22. The '50 Ford was reissued last year w/ custom front and rear, I believe..
  23. Tower Hobbies has it listed for late June.
