  1. More reissues, no doubt. Hopefully they can find things that haven't been reissued over and over again over the last 20 years...
  2. Back on point, it looks like everything Round 2 has announced so far for this year is 1st/2nd quarter (and can be found listed as such on Tower Hobbies, etc). I haven't seen any speculation or announcements of later releases yet...I assume there will be a few goodies in the 2nd half of the year that we don't expect... (a futile attempt to steer the thread above the mudslinging and back to civil conversation)
  3. One could combine the W30 hood from the Revell 72 w the Johan 70 hood with a bit of effort, I would think.
  4. There was one around here...a 2dr sedan, pale yellow..saw it in traffic back around '09 one time..pretty sure it was a '65 (distinctive taillights).
  5. MCW also lists a resin '50 Olds fastback, along w/ a 2dr sedan and Holiday hardtop.
  6. Interesting factoid..didn't know that. '64 or '65 Comet 2dr sedans have to be pretty scarce..think I've only seen one in my lifetime.
  7. I ran it through Google Translate to English....bunch of legal documents.
  8. Maybe a resin caster will eventually do a Comet 2dr sedan. MCW does a '64 Falcon 2dr sedan, that would be the correct roof for a '65 Comet 2dr sedan.
  9. How about the Lindberg Hemi '64 Dodge? One of the versions of the drag car is a Hemi IIRC.
  10. There was a slight resemblance, but I don't think they were related...the US Monza/etc were Vega H-body variations..don't think it had anything in common w/ the Opel Ascona/Manta...
  11. I'm a fan of Herman Miller chairs...I've got a couple Aerons in my home office/hobby room that I acquired on the cheap years ago from a failed start up company I worked at, still in excellent condition.
  12. Amazon delivered a package to my house today, first time I'd seen an Amazon delivery van...a new Ford Transit w/ the Amazon 'A' logo stuck on the sides and rear door..chatted w/ the driver a bit, he said this week was the first week of them doing deliveries in the area, instead of the usual UPS, USPS and FedEx Amazon deliveries...
  13. Yeah, they have been innundated with orders I'm sure...I've been placing two orders a month from them for a while, for parts and kits.. got a list of about 20 kits I'm still interested in...will definitely miss them when they are gone...
  14. Model Roundup showed the Ranchero as available about a week ago, so it's getting out there. Neat to see the 1/32nd kits back, I have the Avanti reissue, none of the originals.
  15. Dictionaries are always out of date, and thus can't be relied upon as an arbiter of 'correct language', since in the real world, what is 'proper' or 'slang' is constantly evolving... that's reality...
  16. I remember orange push-ups. My Dad liked those in the 70s and I remember having them as a kid...don't recall ever seeing them again after the 70s, though.
  17. Acutally, you are one of the 'pedantic, grumpy old guys', this forum is full of them... .and who is to say something is correct or not? Certainly not you. Language is not static, language evolves over time...
  18. 'build' is a commonly used term for a model car project or 1:1 car project...just because a few pedantic, grumpy old guys don't recognize it doesn't invalidate it...
  19. Your dictionary reference is out of date....
  20. 50s-60s were before my time, but I do remember in the 80s seeing a GM full line dealer in Key West, Florida. i don't recall how the Ford and Chrysler dealers were set up, but they probably had all the brands each also.
  21. Yeah, I assume it goes way back, I've long read the Max Wedge Plymouths and Dodges referred to as Super Stock class cars...
  22. No, that's a 914... the greenhouse is definitely a 914. I think I saw this car at Rennsport Reunion..looks familiar.
  23. The AMT name definitely has more market presence and recognition.. Super Stock would be too long to fit at that font size...
  24. Model Roundup is where I buy the MK releases...no problem getting them from there.
  25. Ya, that's an oldie...I remember hearing it on MTV 25 years ago...
