Me too... still have a month or so of summerish weather left here. I've got a few trips coming up to cooler climes, so looking forward to them...seeing fall colors, etc.

Last week, the city was doing some work on a water main down the street..water was off several hours...came home from work, and there was a lot of air in the lines, strange colored water, and stinky water. When I first flushed the toilets, the sound was wild..like something blew up in the wall...I called the city, they sent someone buy who took a water sample from the outside tap. Said that the air in the lines, etc was because there is no hydrant for them to let it out or whatever. After a while, the water ran clear from the taps and toilets. However, one of the toilets wouldn't stop running..flush it, it filled and kept running...hadn't had any problems with it before the outage. Hmmm.... So I turned off the valve until the weekend....got a float valve replacement at Ace Hardware, and replaced it myself with a minimum of screaming and swearing...and the toilet flushes smoothly now w/ no excess running. I had to improvise on a chain clip (was missing from the kit, used a bent paper clip). I'm no plumber, but it was fun to do a little bit of DIY on the holiday weekend.. Speaking of pool repairs, I've been having issues for months w/ my pool sweep (Barracuda G3, 2nd one I've had in 5 years)..it keeps getting confused and hung up under the ladder...my pool guy every week seems to adjust it's mapping so it doesn't hang up, but it seems to happen intermittently..

Definitely a C series...not sure which number. -
I've gone to a lot of concerts over the last 30 years, depends on the artist, venue and audience, but standing at the beginning, during the first few songs, during fan favorites, or during the final set is pretty common...usually everyone sits down eventually. Being able to see over people is easier in a stadium than a smaller venue... The things that really irk me at concerts or sporting events are people goofing around w/ their phone, getting up and down frequently to go to the bathroom or concession stand, etc..esp. in stadiums that have very little room between rows.

Went to a neighborhood coffee shop for breakfast this morning...I got my coffee and bagel, sat down and looked at my receipt...only to see a senior discount (I'm 45). I'm not sure if it was that I looked tired and haggard at 6am, or the Millenial behind the counter really thought I was that old... At lunch, I got to ride in a coworker's '15 Mustang...first time I'd been inside one. They look great outside, but wow..they feel really small inside...the sloping roofline really cuts into backseat headroom, though there is more front seat headroom than my old Foxes. But I've driven a few '05-14 style Mustangs, and this car felt smaller inside...steeper windshield rake and smaller side windows. Felt smooth, though.

That's a pretty cool variation on their Sambar trucks..

Moebius '65 Mercury Comet Cyclone news

It is interesting that they did post photos of the test shots of the Ford truck, Satellite and Pontiac kits, but nothing so far of the Comet...probably afraid of criticism and feedback. -

It's been said that I take more of the 'there is no glass' view...(nihilist?) -

It doesn't come up directly in a google search, but the link is in the Wikipedia article. http://www.fujimimokei.com/

Nice, knew it was coming, but I'd rather see a Huracan.

I suspect the aftermarket w/ eventually do parts for these variations. From what I've heard the next version will be a '70 2wd shortbed fleetside. -

I ordered parts from the site using my phone this morning and it worked fine. -
My last order was 10 weeks. I have 3 (2 parts orders, 1 kit order) in progress now, figure I'll get them in due time. Not worried.

After 18 years in the West (Colorado Springs, Denver, Phoenix) I'm used to dry climates.. It would be a challenge adjusting to a humid climate again if I move to one..

Wild...never had one of these, going to have to find one..I have built several Monogram '78-82 Corvettes, always liked them..seemed pretty accurate, though simplified as Monograms were then.

Yes, the snap one is out (mustard yellow colour)..I ordered one from Model Roundup Friday. I assume the pre-paint version will have an engine like the other pre-paint kits have...
