  1. I really doubt they will do that..sounds like this as described-- the existing Z/28 kit with Foose wheels, large tires, and new decals..doubt if there are any other new parts.
  2. They've been around at least 20 years...I remember ordering from their print catalog and buying parts from them at the Toledo show back around '91 or so..
  3. Since most of their parts are kit restoration parts, I already have a good idea what the part looks like...I've been buying w/ confidence from Don for at least 20 years now. As far as their resin kits, there are photos of many them online, in particular a site on Fotki.
  4. Yes, another great one. I've got a couple models of Ferraris he drove. Got a great coffee table book by Allan de La Plante on Gilles, it covers the era quite well.
  5. ..or you can shop in a store aisle on an isle...
  6. I definitely prefer retail businesses that are open Sundays...though Sundays for me mean watching motorsports and football when in season, I do use the weekends to take care of errands like grocery shopping, dog supply shopping, etc..
  7. I'd love to see models of some modern pickups and SUVs...would love to see a Ford Raptor, current Ram, SIlverado, Sierra (esp. a Denali), maybe a Suburban or Yukon Denali, Escalade...
  8. Huh? The upcoming Revell kit is a reissue of the New Beetle kit, which a '99-00 or so. Not the new Beetle. No one has kitted the new Beetle yet, maybe RoG will eventually.
  9. It will always be the 'New Beetle' because the new generation is named 'Beetle' instead of New New Beetle.
  10. Varies depending on the state...car dealers are open here on Sundays.
  11. Sounds like a straight reissue of the '90s era Pro Street Super Bee that's been reissued a few times over the years, but w/ new decals. Re: Greg's question--Dirty Donny is a graphic artist that did the art work for the AMT '70s Chevy van last year, that was the first I'd heard of him.
  12. I enjoy dropping by my local hobby shop after work a couple times a month, to see what has come in, pick up a new release or two and supplies. I buy a lot of kits from online retailers in the US and Japan also. I avoid the big chains.
  13. Looks like a neat kit....
  14. Yes, Revell is going to use social media to advertise to a broad consumer base... they don't need to worry about the grumpy old curmudgeons that don't use FB and just complain about the modern world.
  15. Yeah, I would think the 1st half 2014 release announcement would have some new tools. Of the 2nd half 2013 releases, the Shelby convertible is the most interesting to me.
  16. Beautiful build..turned out great.
  17. Looks like they finally got their announcement on FB, just a YouTube video link..
  18. A lot more people are on Facebook than not... oddly, they haven't updated their FB page yet.
  19. Maybe Revell is using the 'Slingster' name to distinguish the new kit from the vintage 'Sizzler' kit.
  20. Easy...I don't talk about my hobbies at work.
  21. Next year is going to be huge... can't believe it's been almost 20 years. There have been lots of tributes and photos posted on the various Facebook Senna fan pages today.
  22. Apparently the '62 Corvette Gasser is this car...neat http://www.dmcorvette.com/flyerbuilder.php?gen_no=C1&car_no=C11962R0008
  23. Never heard of that Jeep kit....would be neat to see again for the half cab parts...
