I think that is a model of an actual '50s race car. I just don't know what it is, but I think I've seen B&W pics of it in magazines and online. Very cool pontoon design.

It's fun...been there a couple of times. I've thought about moving back to Ohio or elsewhere in the Midwest...I'm sick of the dry, dusty desert.

One of the earlier issues may have had an optional thingy that stuck through the hood that required cutting the hole out..

I'd probably get another one...though I have 4 of the original issue, 2 of the '80s reissue, the original '71 GTX and the '72 RR in my stash. One of the '80s ones I'm planning on kitbashing w/ the modern-tool AMT '71 Charger for the chassis, engine compartment, etc. I love the '60s-70s MPC Mopies.

LoL...I spent my college years in the Cleveland area...it's cleaned up quite a bit since then (late '80s-early '90s). Spent a lot of Friday-Saturday nights in 'The Flats' area back in the day. Anyway, as far as Revell, we just have to wait and see what they announce and how they announce it.

I guess they don't want to incur the travel expenses of going to Cleveland..

There are a few shows on Velocity I like, among them Wayne Carini's 'Chasing Classic Cars' and the British 'Wheeler Dealers'. There was another reality type show I tried to watch on one of the channels...Graveyard something...it had a bunch of cool Mopars, but the actors were so moronic I couldn't watch more than 15 min.

I wish they would get rid of the dumb 'reality' shows and show more racing...DTM, WTCC, WRC, V8 Supercars, etc...they've shown a little bit of these series but it seems less this year than last year...

I think they are more likely to have rats and other vermin living inside their rusty shells..

Yes..my understanding is that the LTD 4dr ht was made first (from the promo tooling), then it's tooling was revised to make the Galaxie 4dr sedan and they inexplicably used a Boss 429 engine (as they did w/ the '70 Torino Cobra annual, which was available in the MCS series and as a full detail kit). I have a couple of the LTDs in my stash, neat kit.

Wheels and tires look ok to me, esp. like the wheels. The aftermarket steering wheel and aftermarket gauges look tacky to me, though...along with whatever that is under the dash in the center.

I do wonder if there are licensing issues w/ BMW..there hasn't been a new BMW kit in over a decade since Revell's Z8. I'm really surprised Revell AG hasn't done some current BMW kits, and I would think they would sell well in the US as Revell reboxes given the brand's popularity in the US. Wasn't expecting much...typical Revell 'California Wheels'/Motor City Muscle' style release w/ the Foose name attached instead.

One feature I do miss is my local grocery used to unload your cart and put the on the checkout line for you, was convenient when you had a lot of content. They don't do that anymore, since they remodeled a while back...

Good list. We definitely need more modern cars, from the current decade and maybe the last 30-40 years... I'd add the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 and Shelby GT500 to that list.

I like self-checkout...use it at the groceries whenever possible. One pet-peeve I hate when waiting in line at a normal checkout is being stuck behind someone paying with a check..as if it were still the 20th century.
