  1. If this kit sells well, it wouldn't surprise me if they don't do a AAR as a followup.
  2. Beautiful car...love the color.
  3. I don't get it either--a Chevy motor in a Ford is soo wrong. But the execution and paint is very well done.
  4. Is the Revell new release brochure available in PDF anywhere? I have the PDFs from the last few years.
  5. Noooo...Chevy engine in a Mopie is soo wrooooong.. For a Pro Touring build, I'm leaning towards using the 6.1 Hemi from the Magnum SRT or the Challenger SRT.
  6. LoL...hopefully this will be in a normal box and not the silly oversized box like the '76 was in.
  7. There isn't anything saying they are diecast either, though. And would they list diecast kits in with the styrene? A bit strange..either way, those two are going to be interesting...I don't have the original issues of them.
  8. I have an iPad for work, but am thinking about getting a Kindle Fire HD for personal use.
  9. Keep in mind that is the hood shown on the Pro Touring style version. It may represent a custom design, meant to resemble a stock hood but not quite stock...or as others said, this is the prototype tooling, not the finished product.
  10. Saw that...no biggie, the AMT '49 Merc is easy enough to source an engine from.
  11. Forgot that one existed... I'm familiar w/ the Monogram 1:24th '83 convertible.
  12. Cool...I like the '69 style grille more than the '71. Hope this series is successful and the aftermarket responds, would love to build a '67-69 Crew Cab. Any news from Moebius about other new kits? I've heard rumors elsewhere of a mid '60s Ford (maybe a '65 Comet) and perhaps another '50s subject or two. I guess any news from them will be coming out at iHobby later this week..
  13. The Riv will be nice to have...I have the AAM '71, never built it. The '72 is slightly different (grille, side trim), but very similar.
  14. I'm also interested in the Jeep Rubicon and '77 Trans Am Smokey and the Bandit...didn't see anything on the flyer, but am wondering if they are styrenified diecast like the '68 Mustang and '70 Challenger kits were..the diecast Jeep and T/A were pretty good, I've heard. Looking forward to the '57 Chevy convertible also, a nice tri-5 variation, and the '69 Camaro ZL1 is a nice variation also... Looking forward most to the Mustang LX and Cuda (though I have 5 of the Lindberg '71s and 10 MPC '70-74s).
  15. Lots of good stuff to look forward to...
  16. Looking at the parts tree, stock, stock and drag maybe? Because I see two different stock hoods, bumper choices Casey mentioned..and maybe there are two stock wheel choices (Rallys and steelies/dds, maybe)?
  17. Yes...noticed that. '91-93 LX 5.0s had the same 5-spoke wheels as the GTs, IIRC.
  18. Looks like lots of good stuff to look forward to for next year...
  19. Anyone have pics of the Toledo test shots?
  20. Sharp build...nice color, nice to see one that isn't red...
  21. Yeah, I have a lot friends and coworkers that guzzle Monster and other energy drinks...I've tried Red Bull, doesn't work for me. I have a regular coffee maker, a Keurig single cup machine, and an espresso machine at home, and 3 Starbucks within a mile of home, as I do love my coffee...
  22. Sharp build..I love F1 cars from the '70s.
  23. That's the one I was thinking of....couldn't remember the name. Thx. I also see that Morgan Automotive Detail casts a C6 tranny.
  24. Neat how the box has the red background at the top...
