  1. Well, those are 'new' in the sense they are new releases, not in the catalog for a while. As opposed to something called 'All-New'... In their advertising, they probably avoid using 'reissue' and 're-release' as the general public couldn't understand such terms.
  2. They did..that's where I got my MM conversion.
  3. This one? Never heard of the Toho brand.
  4. Some beautifully built Mopars there..love the color choices.
  5. Photoshop image, or an ugly custom car. It's not a production car that I'm aware of.
  6. The space crane that they used to lower the rover to the surface was very cool...the technology is pretty cool...that's the kind of technical project I'd love to have worked on...the software for the rover has be very robust, bug free and precise.
  7. I remember back in the day when MTV had music videos.. it just has stupid reality shows now. For music on TV, I like MTV's Palladia channel.
  8. Yes, this is the 7th Mars rover...since the early '70s...only the 4th to successfully land. Hot Wheels made a diorama of the one from the '90s that was the first one to successfully land. But this one is bigger, and now with color photos (though still grainy...I would think NASA would have 1080p HD video by now ). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_rover
  9. That looks pretty cool..whilst searching for photos, I found this--a crew cab version!
  10. Sharp build...like the color choice and wheels.
  11. Would be fun to kitbash w/ the 3 AMT '51 Chevy variations to do an Olds hardtop, convertible and fastback, and a Chevy coupe.
  12. That is pretty cool...definitely not a rust rod. It reminds of the interesting rods that Moal builds.
  13. JL did one in 1/64 a few years ago.
  14. 1/8th sounds correct for car/truck kits. I think there have been 1/6th scale motorcycle kits. 1/6th is a common scale for figures and figure models, and there are some figures in 1/4th.
  15. It's one of those true stories that's stranger than fictional lyrics.
  16. LoL...I saw the grainy color pics from the rover online yesterday--a dry, dusty barren desert just about as ugly as parts of Arizona.
  17. That URL goes to a fake parked site.
  18. Looking good..I have a couple of the later AMT Falcons I bought as builtups...a rough '67 and a less rough '69. Someone hacked out the B-pillars on the '67, got to recreate those, and the seats are missing. It's hard to find an AMT Falcon of that era that hasn't been hacked up..
  19. Got the AMT Phantom '77 Ford van at the LHS this afternoon...came home and had a bunch of resin goodies in the mail ....Motor City Resin '70 1/2 Ford Falcon 2dr sedan, 2 sets of Casey's 20 inch wheels (incl. a set of '77 Pontiac style), MCW Resin Mopar engine parts, Modelhaus '69 Chevelle taillights (much nicer than the AMT kit parts), and some SELTd Pontiac mags and GM '70s mirrors.
  20. Did some searching on Italian wagons..I think it's a '60s Autobianchi Panoramica wagon. Based on the Fiat 500. Here's one.. http://bringatrailer...chi-panoramica/
  21. It's rather heavy-handled, kind of 'Big Brother'ish. Moderators on here used to have names.
  22. Maybe something German from the '50s-early '60s...there were a number of small German minicars then. Kind of like a Lloyd Kombi, but different (Lloyds had rear-hinged doors and a different rear bumper). Then again, it could be something created digitally for the ad.
  23. I just got some parts from Harts...less than a week after I ordered. Some nice Mopar parts.
