  1. ML makes great hubcaps...I have several sets of the Dodge and also the Plymouth dog dish hubcaps, recently got a set of their early '70s Ford flat caps w/ trim rings, quite nice also..
  2. Looking forward to it...last weekend was busy w/ F1, IndyCar, Rolex Grand Am and NASCAR to watch...looks like this will be a busy weekend also.
  3. MCW. http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/resinlist.html
  4. Any idea of when this one is coming out?
  5. Hmmm..didn't notice if the steel wheels were in mine, but wasn't looking for them.
  6. AMT also makes the '11 Camaro SS convertible IPC in promo form.
  7. Good idea..that would be inclusive of other racing categories as well.
  8. I've got all of those...I love those '70s midsize and big cars. There is also the Modelhaus '70 Coronet 4dr. I'd love to see someone master and tool up a '69-70 or '71-72 Marquis 4dr ht..
  9. Auggh...another AZ summer under way...looking forward to October. Got to travel for work next month to Louisiana for a week, probably be sticky and humid there....but I do have a few weekend trips to northern AZ, So Cal, Nor Cal, Denver and Ohio planned for the next 4 months..
  10. I've bought old kits on eBay almost by accident before, thinking I didn't have one when I did already have one...buying w/o consulting my spreadsheets can lead to that, which is how over the years I've ended up w/ duplicates of some uncommon kits, like 2 '65 Caddy Coupe de Villes, 2 '67 Thunderbirds, etc.
  11. I've bought it at Hobby Depot. Huh? SA has been available at B&N and other bookstores for years...
  12. LoL...I drove through Indiana from Chicagoland down to Indianapolis and back last weekend for a sporting event. It was green, warm and humid. A nice contrast to my usual surroundings. NW Indiana along I-65 reminds me a lot of parts of Ohio that I'm familiar with.
  13. As far as Revell release dates, I find about the only reliable resource to be Revell's website (New Products tab) which shows the announcements for the current month (which usually means they will be out the last week of the current month at their preferred partner dealers and early in the next month elsewhere). http://www.revell.com/new.html
  14. Nope. No Ranchero of that era has been kitted. There were a couple resin kits about a decade ago, though.
  15. Beautiful build. I have a Johan '59 in my stash that I want to restore eventually.
  16. It would be nice....though there is a certain strange retro appeal to ordering from RMCM by snail mail w/ from a printed catalog...kind of like a flashback to the last century using an 'envelope', 'stamp', etc.
  17. Speaking of hearses, IIRC at one time a resin caster (maybe Jimmy Flintstone?) did a hearse body for this kit.
  18. I used to follow topics, but don't anymore... just hit 'View New Content' link when I visit.
  19. Too warm for me. I sat out in the open at Indy last year and in the past, I prefer being under the overhang in the shade. The humidity+sun is killer..
  20. Yes, noticed those. It was hot, humid and sunny, definitely wouldn't want to be out there in the open.
  21. They probably did it separately so they could leave it off for the race car version.
  22. I guess they decided to use the Foose brand rather than their own 'California Wheels' or 'Motor City Muscle' branding...I don't expect them to be much different than California Wheels versions of other kits..decals, big wheels and tires. As far as the Velocity channel, it used to be called HD Theater..it has Mecum auction coverage, and a couple pretty good shows--Chasing Classic Cars w/ Wayne Carini and a British old car find/fixup/sell show, Wheeler Dealers, that I like... Speaking of big wheels, I wonder what happened to the 3 new wheels Pegasus announced at iHobby last year? Haven't seen anything about them.
  23. I don't know, but I suspect the hourly rate would be a bit low.
