  1. Looking good on the interior detailing...looking forward to seeing the finished model.
  2. I don't see a correlation between full detail vs curbside and the quality of tires. Good tires are good tires. Generally, Japanese kits have better tires (talking about recently tooled kits, not talking about 40 yr old Doyusha or Union kits)... As far as Revell kits, tires have been a week point with Revell kits for decades. I generally like Revell and (ex-Monogram kits), but Revell tires aren't the best, and often unrealistic.
  3. IIRC, the only 2wd version of the MPC '78-84 Chevy/GMC pickups was the original '78 Chevy. Revell also did a 2wd Chevy pickup of that era, sat with a rake, always issued as a kind of street machine..kind of simplified compared to the MPC.
  4. I don't think I'd like moderating..I'd be banning people every 5 minutes.
  5. And the V8 Supercars race series...and Midnight Oil, INXS, Cate Blanchett..
  6. Sharp....I like the color.
  7. They make Holdens. Which briefly resulted in the cool Pontiac G8 here (and now the fleet-only Caprice PPV).
  8. That's going to be cool...
  9. Welcome to the jungle.
  10. And often sunny. I lived in Florida 6 years and Arizona almost 4 years now. Two very different climates, but with some similarities.
  11. Too often. Too easy to get online when I work from home (which is most of the time lately).
  12. I do wonder if the new Fusion nose styling will lead to a lawsuit from A-M....it does seem awfully similar. Though no one is likely to confuse a fwd family/rental sedan for a six-figure sports coupe..
  13. The Kia ad was strange... the guys from Motley Crue look pretty rough these days. And what about the Chevy truck ad w/ the Manilow song? Takin' a swipe at Ford.. liked the Fiat ad also.
  14. I've never worked in a neighborhood where they were prevalent, but I've sampled a few in downtown Portland and LA....had some really tasty food from them.
  15. Sharp build....I like Synergy Green. I've got one so far, 2 more on the way. I plan to do one of them as a phantom 'ZR1' using the engine and clear hood panel from the Corvette ZR1 and BBS wheels (the ZR1 kit wheels are too tiny).
  16. Ok, so it's a 25yr old kit w/ new decals.
  17. I'm a Democrat, a leftie, and I didn't see any political angle to the ad..thought it was a great ad with iconic Clint...
  18. I wouldn't believe anything from Faux News..that's just right-wing propaganda....
  19. Sharp build. I have the AAM version in my to-build closet. Got to build it eventually, probably in an early '70s brown or green.
  20. IIRC, Monogram issued a sprint car back in the '80s, reissued a few times into the '90s in different liveries...I assume this is based on those kits (w/ some changes maybe)?
  21. The tall chunky one.. They went to my undergrad college, albeit at least 15 years before I did..
  22. I usually have ended up waiting until the week before Halloween to prepare a costume...for 10+ years I've gone to a friend's Halloween party in Denver...adults, plenty of adult beverages and music..can be fun. I went as Dilbert one year, Tony Soprano another year, Eminem one year, a member of Devo one year, etc...
  23. Too many to count..30+ years collecting Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Tomica, Johnny Lighting, Greenlight, M2, etc...
  24. I'll admit I'm biased as I own a Jeep, but I definitely will have more Chrysler products in my future..thinking about another Grand Cherokee eventually (useful when I move to a snowy climate again) and maybe a Challenger (or 300).
