  1. Should be the same as the 007 release a while back...maybe new decals?
  2. Arrived today in NE Ohio. Nice to see them bagged again.
  3. Looking good..neat looking cab...googling turned up this article on Bruce Canepa's car hauler based on a 372.. https://www.thedrive.com/news/33508/you-wont-find-a-greater-car-hauler-than-this-aero-bodied-canepa-peterbilt
  4. Ha…I remember noticing parking spaces that seemed smaller than normal in parts of San Diego when I used to go there when I lived in Phoenix. My DTS was a tight fit in some places, as was a rental Yukon I had one weekend. I used to drive over several times a year, usually to Pacific Beach…
  5. Just the way it is. Thick pillars and small windows for better crash structure and roll over protection, I assume.
  6. The view from the camera is better than looking back w/ the huge pillars and small side and rear windows.
  7. My '14 Jeep has a back up camera and proximity sensors on the rear bumper, pretty convenient in backing out...I think blind spot alert/cross traffic warning are options on the newer ones.
  8. The Z06 convertible looks great in that dark red w/ tan interior...would love to see a model of it (though I'm sure there will be plenty of diecast eventually). I played around with Chevy's 'virtualizer' tool and came up with the spec I like--in Caffeine w/ natural (tan) leather interior, no carbon fiber trim, and bronze wheels..sweeet...
  9. The 2021 would make no sense, as the 2021 season is almost over and a new car is coming for 2022.
  10. Seems like a natural for the 'Craftsman Plus' reboxing like the '64 Ford.
  11. BMWs latest styling trends make the Chris Bangle designs of the mid 00s look pretty good by comparison. My favorite era of BMWs is still the late 80s to early 00s (pre-Bangle).
  12. I changed the oil on my Jeep back in June because it had been a year, but I’d only put 1500 miles it since the previous year. But I’ve put about 2500 miles on it since June. Lots of weekend trips.
  13. Nothing to talk about, it's been reissued a couple times in the last 15 years...once by Model King and once by Round 2 IIRC...I assume this is the same ol', same ol' w/ new box art and decals...
  14. Neat..I remember the 'ME' and cat graphics from the movie...a very funny flick.
  15. Thanks for sharing..some sweet rides there, love that '70 Mach 1, black Fox Mustang LX, the Royal Monaco, the Grand Prix and stepside Chevy...
  16. I would think so..found this pic of a '72 GMC interior, the AMT '72 Chevy interior looks pretty much the same..
  17. Internet forums are very good at taking the slightest comment and spinning it up into high drama...see that everyday here, on FB, and other forums. Some people thrive on drama.
  18. I made an appointment a couple weeks ago for the flu shot at my local Walgreens, even with the appointment, I had to wait about 45 min. Seems they were understaffed in the pharmacy.
  19. Interesting how the '68 seat pattern is very similar to the reissue '72, except for the center section. I also have '68 and '69 MPC, AMT '69 and 70 Chevy pickups, the AMT '71 GMC Sierra Grande kit and a couple of the '72 GMC step sides, but none are handy to compare.
  20. Comparing my AMT ‘67 with the recent ‘72 reissue, the interior door panels, steering wheel, and seat are different. The seat upholstery pattern is similar but different, and the center section of the seat has a raised sort of armrest on the ‘72. First 3 photos are ‘67, last two photos are from the recent ‘72 Racer’s Wedge release.
  21. Reality is complex.
  22. Kind of a bizarre story...https://www.elpasotimes.com/story/news/history/blogs/tales-from-the-morgue/2008/04/30/200-miles-on-tw/31519999/
  23. Two sides to everything...I was in high school in that time period also...I took all the college prep/AP courses, computer courses, etc...went on and got my BS and MS in computer science... it was definitely the right choice for me, I've never seen a shortage of high paying jobs in software development..
  24. Funny how we remember things like that...in June of 1997, I was in the process of moving from Michigan to Colorado, was driving west on I-80 in Nebraska around 1:00 am...saw an orange glow in the sky...came upon a late 80s Caprice burning underneath an overpass... little to no traffic, no one around, no police or fire truck to be seen....
  25. It's a '96.
