  1. Very cool build..I have some Tomica Hino diecast trucks. Hino made cars at one time also..my folks had a '65 Hino Contessa sedan when they lived in Saipan in the 60s, I've seen B&W photos of it.
  2. If you like Breaking Bad, check out Better Call Saul eventually..it's the prequel, and is excellent.
  3. Moving is exhausting...done it only 4 times since leaving grad school in 1997. Moved from Michigan to Colorado, moved once within Colorado, then to Arizona, then to Ohio most recently. I'll probably be in my current house a few more years, but looking down the road at selling it and buying a large one-story house w/ more garage space and maybe a barn/shop..but not too rural (the family farm I grew up on and own partially now is waaaay too rural, for example).
  4. Yeah, lots of different parts. Body, hood, chassis, interior tub, seats, engine, wheels and tires, etc.
  5. And the lead character in Superfly had a custom Eldorado IIRC, not a Grand Prix.
  6. Definitely looks like just one. If you look at Tim’s pics, photo DSC-1117 shows the small spoiler on the parts tree and the comment mentions how the Z/28 kit has the small spoiler and the B/M his the large spoiler, as they always have IIRC.
  7. Those plates look great...I ordered the MOPAR plates, current Ohio and two sets of vintage California tags from them.
  8. I am surprised Round 2 hasn't reissued it. They have reissued several other truck and SUV kits.
  9. Didn't realize there was a real one...yeah, you can see the C2 style dash and windshield in this photo.
  10. Became a custom called the Magnum GT II then never seen again..
  11. Didn't remember that one...hideous box art, though most early 80s MPC box art was bad.
  12. Sounds like this one? Looks like never reissued...probably had some parts in common w/ the Mako Shark kit..
  13. I don't think it's any different than it's been the last 10-15 years... they use the Monogram branding on former Monogram tools, inconsistently.
  14. Yeah, way too obscure for Revell to do...maybe a resin caster will do a 300 2dr sedan body w/ the strippo interior parts..or a '69 300 Deluxe 4dr sedan body and interior---there was a police package in '69, that could be interesting. Super-obscure, though, don't think I've ever seen a pic of one.
  15. And then there is the RoG origin 1/24th items, that are reboxed for the US as Revell, like the Land Rover recently was.
  16. Dash, door panels and seat upholstery pattern are the same As the parts in the '69 kit... Another thing about the grille I noticed--the parking lights/turn signals below the headlight buckets are simplified compared to the '69--they are smoothed out w/ only the bolts. The Rookie Resin grilles are definitely nicer.
  17. It does have the lower side moldings. Appears to be the same as the ‘69. In fact, I just realized all the Moebius ‘67-72 cabs have the lower side trim, though some box art doesn’t show it.
  18. Anyone have an idea what the 2nd truck in this photo is? Has an offset cab, very heavy duty looking.
  19. Wowza... that's a lot of tires.
  20. Tower is definitely fast...got the Chevelle and another kit from them in 3 business days last week.
  21. Some on Netflix I've watched this year that I liked a lot: Deadwind-- Finnish crime drama. Bordertown--Finnish/Russian crime drama Retribution-- Scottish family revenge/crime drama The Vallhalla Murders--Icelandic crime drama The Forest-- French crime drama, great scenery The Woods- Polish crime drama Marcella--British crime drama, set in N. Ireland Spy--Israeli crime drama w/ Sacha Baron Cohen, set in Syria in the 60s Marseille--French political drama w/ Gerard Depardeu and many, many more... I do seem to watch a lot of subtitled European crime dramas w/ great scenery... I watch a lot on Amazon Prime as well.
  22. Subscriptions are usually always handled by a third party, print or digital. I get all my digital subscriptions (incl. SA) through Amazon, for instance.
  23. Got the '67 w/ utility box today...did a few comparisons w/ the previous '69 kits. The interior door panels appear the same as the '69. One area of difference are the '67-specific hood badging and the grille. It also looks like they've made the headlight surrounds smaller on the '67, IIRC there was talk of the headlight surrounds on the '69 being too large. '69 on top below, '67 on bottom.
  24. I'm interested in the DVD, but according to the Kalmbach site it's not compatible with newer versions of MacOS, unfortunately.
  25. Got the Moebius '67 Ford F100 w/ service bed. Looks good at first glance.
