  1. Thanks. Added it to my cart. Later-
  2. Thanks Chaz, Carl and David. Later-
  3. Got the custom front end pieces for the AMT 65 Impala in a trade today. I.like that idea. I'll have to order some for myself once I get my lathe and mill up and running. Later-
  4. Just received my parts from VW93! Great transaction! Thanks. Later-
  5. Thanks guys. My guess on the one being a Tbird sounds right. The other I would not have known it was for a falcon. Great! Thanks. Later-
  6. People ditching them for what they can get before the kit is available. Sounds normal. Later-
  7. Thanks Mike. Later-
  8. Thanks for the info. I'll give that a try. I have a lowrider 41 Chevy pickup that I am stopped on because I need to practice my painting techniques. Later-
  9. Dug through the paint cabinet this morning and came up with this Testors blue. Sprayed a first coat. I'll wet sand this smooth and get another couple of coats on it tomorrow. Later-
  10. Man, your work is amazing and the sequence of photos is very helpful. I am surprised that you don't seem to have any build up in the paint like I always got by using spray cans. They tend to throw a lot of paint. Yours looks extremely smooth. How do you manage not to have build up between the layers? I appreciate your style of builds. I'd love to see more lorries on this site. Keep them coming. Later-
  11. Looks good Mike. One of my favorite kits as far as looks. The chassis swap is a nice one. I just put a first coat of paint on my AMT 57 Chevy so I'll be watching this build of its older brother. Later-
  12. Great subject and an amazing build. I like that you opened it up. I would love to find one of these to build. Any info you can provide on the maker would be great. Later-
  13. Can anyone identify which kit these two interior buckets come from? Thanks in advance. Later-
  14. That looks beautiful Tom! I got the 69 GTO and the 60 Buick Invicta wet sanded and a final coat of clear on the GTO. Later-
  15. Found this in one of the Chopper boxes. Whoever had these before did some serious customizing! Later-
  16. Got three more parts kits (makes 6 total) of the Revell Choppers given to me. These ones have the frames, at least. Now I don't have to scratch build a frame. Also got this Ferrari 512S given to me by the same guy. Sealed inside. Looks like a great kit. Later-
  17. Got the decals this weekend from Sam I Am (thanks buddy) and got them installed today. Had to cut them up to get a decent length so they are not perfect. A dab of black paint inside each hoodscoop and some panel line accent in the hood vent. Next is a good wipedown of prints and setting solution spots then more Clearcoat. Later-
  18. Sweet looking mods you've made to this. I really like the transverse mounted engine too. I think I have found my color for my Revell Chopper too! Later-
  19. I have the same issue. I got the decals this weekend for my 69 GTO and a set of stock front seats for my 63 Mercury Meteor. So, come Monday it is back to work on getting those finished up. Then, as most of you saw, I got a huge stash of stuff that had a 57 Chevy and a Revell Chopper that are both calling to me to be finished. Waiting for paint to dry or parts to arrive in the mail is usually what allows the squirrels access to my hobby area and cause all kinds of happy havoc! Later-
  20. Doing some dry fitting of parts together tonight to see how things work since I've never built a bike before. Found that there was a resin intake/ blower system included with everything. I realized while dry fitting that I got the trumpets facing the wrong way. The handlebar setup had 10 pieces in a small zip lock bag. Hopefully I got them all in the correct order. Good thing I haven't glued anything yet. Later-
  21. Thanks! Thanks! So, I have spent t a bit of time today working on this new project a d trying to come up with a plan. I'm thinking on a late 60's- early 70's home built hot rod / weekend drag car. My inspiration is loosely taken from this 1:1 I found online. I cut the bumper free from the grill, found a parts box steering wheel and seats, and removed the signal indicator from the column. Next is to clean up the body for primer. Later-
  22. Thanks. I'll.look them up. If not still in business there should be pics on the innertube. Later-
  23. That is looking very nice. Not a color you see that pickup done in normally. I like it a lot. Later-
  24. I've heard that name. Was he Aardvark resin, or something like that? Later-
  25. Thanks Carl. Here are more pics of what I found inside that I want to start on first. Later-
