  1. That looks really good! I love the 70 Camaro body style. What color of blue is that? Very nice looking. Later-
  2. Thanks Nigel. PM sent. The Skyline is a Fujimi kit. Later-
  3. Banner day for me!! Came home to find these waiting for me. I think that I have enough projects for a while! Later-
  4. Just picked these up on my way home from work. All nice kits! Later-
  5. It is a SD. I believe it is an MPC. Later-
  6. As promised, here is what I picked up yesterday. Lots of treasure....some trash. Later-
  7. Thanks guys! I sure would like to know who the OB was. Would be nice to pickhis brain about a few of his builds and let him know that they are being appreciated. I'll be posting pics this morning when I unpack them. David- the interior cloth held on just fine. I didn't wash it because I wasn't sure how it would hold up. I just took a damp toothbrush to it. It didn't manage to get all of the dirt off but a majority of it did. You can kind of see the results in this photo. Later-
  8. Thanks guys! I think I made the right decision too. I picked up a bunch more from this guy today (not his builds- he's a reseller). I'll post some pics tomorrow of my haul once I get them unpacked. Later-
  9. Some nice stuff there. I like it. Later-
  10. We (I) need to see some better pics of your score! Later-
  11. Thanks guys! Glad you like it. I've stumbled into a small collection of builds from a guy who is not the original builder. I'm picking up some of them, all about the same condition. Some I plan to strip and some I plan to just clean up and put back together. If you like this, stay tuned for more. Later-
  12. Either that or a well trained shotgun! Later-
  13. I picked this up from a guy last week. It needed a good cleaning and a bit of freshening up. Being that it appears to be a build from the 60's I felt it best not to try to change anything. I tore it down to the basic assemblies for a good cleaning (man, was it dirty) and reassembled and replaced a few missing parts. Still need a passenger side exhaust manifold and a taillight. Enjoy! Later-
  14. Dann, This thing looks so mean! I really dig the work your doing on this! It has familiar elements of other cars but looks completely fresh. Keep it up. Later-
  15. Nigel, Thanks for posting this build. I've been wondering what that kit looks like. Exactly the one I want. I'll have to get me at least one. I love the color that you've chosen for it and that you built it without the race parts. It looks great! Later-
  16. I'd be interested in the sedan and the wagon myself! Later-
  17. This is just the first in a half dozen or so that I came across. Still making a deal for the rest. Later-
  18. Well, tonight I picked up this old built up from a guy with intentions of stripping it and redoing it. After some encouragement from Tom Geiger, I decided to just scrub it up and leave it as is. So, after taking it down to the main subassemblies and giving it a good bath here it is. I need to find a driver's side rear wishbone, a passenger side exhaust header, a front tire and one taillight. Still looks like it's been around the block but it is much cleaner. Enjoy! Later-
  19. I think you're right. Cleaning it and keeping it the way it is will be best. I pulled the body off to get to the interior. I can see that I need at least one part already. I am missing the driver's side rear wishbone. Got the thing pulled apart as far as I'm taking it though.
  20. It is thread. I think I need to at least pull the body off to wash it since the interior appears to have corduroy glued on it. I can't imagine I'll be able to get that clean without having to get to it better. It even has wiring run for brake lines! Later-
  21. I was thinking the same. Or maybe Cheese Whiz or Cheez-it crackers. Later-
  22. Just picked this up. Can't wait to clean it up! Later-
  23. Got the body of this thing heavily wet sanded and the chrome wheel arches scribed today. It had quite a few spots of glue where it shouldn't have been. I still need to do a bit of spot puttying and scribe a rear trunk. I think I'll haul it home for the weekend and mold in a proper windshield frame. Later-
  24. That Dodge pickup has traveled more than the two of us combined over the last year! ? Later-
