  1. So, I am giving it a shot with adding more of the Viper to the rear end. Lots of cutting, filling, shaping and molding. Later-
  2. Oh yeah! This is shaping up nicely. You are combining two of my favorites- the Merc and a 39 sedan. Perfect! Later-
  3. That is BEAUTIFUL! And that it is a 56 is just icing on the cake! Later-
  4. Roger, Extremely nice build and I love the color combo! After looking at your build, I just ordered two of these. Now to wait a week to get them. Oh well, maybe I can finish another build by then. Later-
  5. I think part of the problem was that the shade of red varied between the cab and bed. You can definitely tell the bed is made by Dodge. Later-
  6. Spotted this Studebaker just now. Later-
  7. Thanks guys! I'm liking the look of this one so far. Got a coat of primer on it. Still got a bit of body work to touch up. I might have to consider the Viper taillights. Later-
  8. So, I have had this 95 Dodge Stealth for many years and haven't had much interest in it although it is a nice kit. I almost built it as the 24 hr build this year. But while I had it out looking to see if it would be a good choice I just happened to look over at a Viper GTS kit and the wheels started turning. Here is what started churning out of the grey matter. I think it has a decent look to it so far. Now, just what I needed was another started project! Later-
  9. Thanks Dave! Exactly what I was looking for!! Man, I love this place. Later-
  10. I had posted a question on here a while back about looking for some. 1/24 1/25 scale display cases and someone had posted about a place they ordered a case of them for the $80-$100 range. Anybody know where that might be? I know Carey company makes a 21 car case but I am looking for the single car display cases. Any help? Later-
  11. Beautiful job! I love this car and kit and your build of it is fantastic! Later-
  12. What a masterful build! So much detail in this build. I could examine it for hours. I love the engine and interior work! You have done an amazing job on it all. Later-
  13. Wow! Nice build. I'd love to have that on my shelf. Later-
  14. That is just an outstanding build! I love the color on this one. Later-
  15. Thanks Joe! I've enjoyed dipping my toe into the drag section lately. Just wish I knew more about the era. Thanks Tom! It was a very enjoyable time with everyone. Looking forward to doing it again. Thank you Larry! It was quite a simple build. Only had one hiccup with a huge paint run along the driver's side rear fender. Had to take a little extra time to wet sand it out and start over on the paint. Later-
  16. Thanks fellas! I am glad so many like it. I like the weathering that I did on it too. For the first time trying it out I think it went well. I was almost fearful of covering the rust with the orange paint because I thought it looked so realistic on its own. Here it is before the salt and top coat. Later-
  17. Beautiful build! Nice color choice too. I have this one that I need to get built. Anything to look out for? Later-
  18. Thanks Tony! Later-
  19. Thanks Joe! Later-
  20. Busy day today. Finished my 41 Willys drag pickup. Did some work on adding Viper GTS parts to my Dodge Stealth and, tonight, during a dozen songs, one beer and two stabbings with an Xacto knife I managed to get the flash removed from this resin 68 Chrysler 300. All in all, a productive day! Later-
  21. Thank you Claude, Tom and Larry! Glad you like it and shared your comments. Later-
  22. Thanks. I actually have a front clip. Part of the parts I got off of eBay. May have to do that. Later-
  23. Thanks Sam! We will have to do it again next year. Later-
  24. Thanks. That's not a bad idea! I have a started flatbed I need to get back to work on. Thanks Sam and David! Later-
