  1. Charlie, That looks like a perfect subject for the 24 hr build. I'm going to do the 24 hr build this year also. Was looking through my stash for a subject and pulled out about 8 options. I think I've landed on either the reissue of the MPC GTO funny car or the AMT/ERTL Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo. Later-
  2. I'll get them boxed up for you with the other parts I am sending you. Later-
  3. Looks great! These are fun little builds. I am currently working on putting my own spin on a Milk Trike. Got to pick up some more of these. Later-
  4. I like it! Nice to see something a bit different. I'm surprised that you found a pic of the same Jeep online. Gotta love the inner tube for that. Lol. I have a box of Jeep parts myself. I may need to do an inner tube search myself when I get ready to dive into it. Later-
  5. Finally got some more progress made. The engine is about 90% done. Still need to do a coil, a beehive oil filter and the exhaust. The engine is just sitting in there for now. Later-
  6. Perfect start! I am dying to get my hands on another lathe. Had a Unimat 6 in 1 lathe from the 60's years ago and foolishly sold it to a good friend of mine. The good thing is, it's in good hands and I have permission (just not much opportunity) to use it when I visit. Later-
  7. That sounds great! My first few weeks of January are slammed! By the 30/31 I may need a good distraction. I don't do FB but I'll post my build on here. If you want to copy the photos (or want me to send them to you in any way) I'm fine with that. I'll pick a kit. Just let me know what time to start. Later-
  8. Very nice work on a rarely seen build. And in 24 hrs, no less! Fantastic! Any idea when this year's 24 he build is? Might want to get involved. Later-
  9. Nice looking little Ford. This kit can be a challenge due to all the things that you mentioned. Molding the top to the body and getting the hood and grill to fit nicely can be frustrating but you made it look great! I like the slightly lowered front end myself. Thanks for sharing it. Later-
  10. Got me a couple of those Milk Trikes recently. Much narrower than I had envisioned. Would love to pick up.a few more in the series. They look like they will make fun little slump busters, although I have never really had that problem- usually too many projects going. Later-
  11. Yeah, Amazon has them for $48 and change. I'll have to keep an eye out. Later-
  12. Ooohh! Might have to search for one of those for myself. Later-
  13. That makes sense since I have some parts for the convertible in the box. Thanks again guys. You're helping me to get these tubs of parts organized! Later-
  14. Ok. That helps. I have some 64-66 Mustang body parts that were in the same group of boxes. I'll see which one it goes to. The first group reminded me of the 64 Tbolt kit but wasn't the same. I don't think that I have any other 56 Ford pieces so that may just become a parts box piece. And the 1990's Mustang or Tbird chassis I'll have to see if I have more parts to that. Thanks again. Later-
  15. I have these parts that I need help from the experts for. The First 5 pics look like they are from the same kit (Ford?) The chassis plate is stamped 1985. The last 3 pics of the other two chassis plates are ? The white one is stamped 1990. Thanks. Later-
  16. Exceptional build Lee. Lots of extra details to look at and I love the paint color. Later-
  17. I like the body work so far, especially the fadeaway fenders. Not sure that I like the idea of that grill though, but I won't rush to judgement yet. I'd love to see this one progress. Later-
  18. It is a Willys pickup cab. I need the frame for the Willys pickup. Later-
  19. This is going to be a good one to ride along with. I'm in. Can't wait to see how it progresses. BTW- I like your buddy's shop! Later-
  20. Snake- Are you in need of any of the bumpers/grills for the 67? Later-
  21. Thanks! Too late. I already did. Besides working on my flathead for my 50 Ford I went ahead with the salt technique on the Willys cab. I added decals to the doors. I like the look. Anyone got a frame for this to trade? Later-
  22. Got a bit more done on the engine today. Aluminum pulleys and making wire looms. Later-
  23. Got some more work done on the 50 Ford engine and experimented with weathering an old cab. Going to try the salt technique tomorrow so I had to get the base down today. This may end up as a future "abandoned drag pickup" build. Later-
  24. Getting the engine started for the project. Using resin heads and resin intake. Got to find my stash of carbs for this. Later-
  25. Been working on my 50 Ford. Got the engine work started. Trying to figure out where I hid all of my resin carbs for this thing. Also working on this custom idea as a side project for now. Later-
