Thanks Guys! I'm glad to have finally finished this one. I love the look of it. Later-

It's been a while since I worked on this one. I had actually started back in on Josephine (the brown 50 Sedan) but ended up needing to order some more HOK paint for it. So, back on this one. I changed out the tires for some Modelhaus #430 whitewalls. Small change, but I like them better. I taped off and painted the engine bay and have started on the motor. I also got the dash and steering column/wheel together. I also cut a scrap of clear plastic and mounted it on the top of the hood ornament. Stay tuned. I need to get this one across the line. Been way too long on it. Later-

Thank you. Yes, I agree. You can't go wrong with one that has just the right top chop. Later-

Wow! Interesting read as to why and how you came up with this. I like the plan to utilize household materials to make something in order to fill a void. Most (myself included) would just post in the wanted section for spare bodies. By going your route you were able to make what you needed and learned something new. Great job! The body looks perfect for a fiberglass Monster Jam body. I like what you've done. Later-

I started this in March, 2018 and got very close to finishing before setting it aside an forgot it on a shelf for the last two and a half years. I just washed the dust off of it last night and got it across the finish line. Here is the link to the build: Painted with HOK Kopper Pearl and used Modelhaus tires for the front. Interior is a 40 Ford bucket and dash with 53 Ford steering wheel. Other than that, nothing special. Later-

Thanks for the clarification. I am, by no means, an expert at identification of wheels. I know these were left overs from another build. I got the chin spoilers put on this morning....and managed to knock the driver's mirror off onto the concrete floor. Then I stepped on it while searching for it. Had to repaint and re-clear the mirror and reinstall it. So- Final-Final shots. Later-

Very clean build and a beautiful color. Great work. Later- -
Beautiful builds, both of them. I'm going to enjoy looking through these. I'm sure that there will be a lot of " Why don't the model companies make a detailed kit of ____ model?" I already wish we could get one of both of these two. Later-

Thanks everyone. I just realized that I forgot to install the chin spoilers. I'll have to get those on first thing tomorrow. They are sitting on my desk at work. Later-

I finished this one up today. Started last month as a build-off between me and a friend. Paint is a custom mix of three craft paints and Testors Bronze for the accent color. I transplanted the V10, seats, steering wheel and shifter from the Viper GTS. Wheels are leftover T37's from a Nissan build with Pegasus anodized blue aluminum sleeves. I added a few other small details here and there. Hope you like it. Later-
