  1. Nice score on the Uncertain T. Those go for good $ in almost any condition. I got one a couple years back that was built but falling apart and missing the back of the cab. Paid $2. Later-
  2. Got my end of a smooth trade today with ranma! Thanks for another grail build! Later-
  3. Got this beauty in a trade with ranma today! Can't wait to break it down and rebuild it! Later-
  4. I stopped by my Buddy's house last night to take him a kit he wanted and to get him to cut down my aluminum sleeves for my GTX build. Although I didn't want or need anything, as always, I was told to dig through his boxes and I walked away with all of this! What a Buddy! Aurora custom grills (w/ cool little plaques) Resin chopped 27 Resin flathead valve covers and chopped 32 grill and customized hood Suspension parts Detail Masters Honeycomb Grill Various tires and wheels Later-
  5. Was looking for some parts for a current project and both mchook and ewetwo came through and asked for nothing in return. Great guys and I appreciate it immensely! Later-
  6. Thanks Fellas! It was a pleasure trading with the two of you also. Hope to do it again soon. Later-
  7. That has a great look to it. I would love to see pictures of the underside. Do you have a link to your YouTube channel? Later-
  8. X2. After viewing your build I would love to find one of these to build. Later-
  9. That is a gorgeous build! I would love to have that on my shelf and definitely in 1:1. I like all three hoods. Later-
  10. Definitely a unique color and the build looks very convincing in comparison to the 1:1. Beautiful job! Later-
  11. Outstanding quality build, especially considering the extremely low detail kit you started with. No matter what inconsistencies there may be with what was available from the factory, we modelers build it the way we want it. Nicely done! Later-
  12. Great looking pickup. I like the changes that you incorporated to make a beautiful work truck. Later-
  13. Steve, That looks great! Nice idea. Where did you get the roll-back bed? Thanks for sharing. Later-
  14. Thanks Guys! Yes, this simple kit can be made to look like a higher dollar kit with just a little bit of detail painting. I'm going to have to get me at least one more for a future project. Later-
  15. After 13 years of being on the property, and in the house that my wife grew up in, I spent some time getting the barn cleaned out in preparation for a concrete floor pour in a couple of weeks (if the weather allows). Today I'm burning a lot of old scrap wood and straw form the floor. Nothing like sitting in the field around a bonfire with a few beers and listening to music...... Ahhh! I feel comfortable. Later-
  16. Thanks. I got all of these from a woman whose husband had passed away last year. She had a notebook with 42 pages of kits listed! Many were ships, Star Wars or brass era cars. Many old Pyro and Aurora kits. A few. Lots of military and plane kits. He was definitely into collecting any type of kit. I was overwhelmed just taking a quick look through each box. I wish I had known more of the value of the kits she had to be able to help her. The semis, Jag and 34 Ford were the only kits I found that were anywhere remotely familiar to me, as far as value. I wish I could have gotten all of them. There had to be 1500 kits! She had many that I was curious about. One was a Star Wars scene with Yoda and Luke Skywalker in the forest (?). I remember the scene from the movie but I had never seen the kit and don't recall the name of it. Anybody familiar with it? Later-
  17. Interesting info. Thanks. I really like the box art too. Has a hydroplane boat scene. I picked up the little Avro Biplane just for something different to build someday. Later-
  18. Picked all of these up late last night. The two rows on the left are all complete and unstarted. The XKE is complete with the body partially painted and the engine partially started. The Ranchero looks complete but body has been painted and some stuff done to the interior. Not sure why I got most of this. Later-
  19. Beautiful build! Many parts swap things to take in and log in the brain for future builds. I like the use of the 429 and the accent color is perfect. Later-
  20. What a beautiful build! The design of this car is very pleasing and the wheel change is perfect! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have to share. Later-
  21. Beautiful work! Love the paint combo. Who makes the resin body and do they have a site? Later-
  22. Not yet! Lots of little pieces. Later-
  23. A big box FULL of parts and pieces! My eyes are getting buggy! Later-
  24. Nice looking custom work. I like how you mated the two kits together. I love ideas like this and enjoy trying to work the details out. Great work! Later-
  25. That paint is superb! I like this build very much. The wheels are a perfect choice also. I have been wanting to get a few of these to build but I'm not always sure what the car looks like from all angles since the box art doesn't always show the rear. I'll have to look for this kit. Later-
