Very nice custom mods. I like the change to the corners of the rear window. This is my type of custom work. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Later-

This is not from "Back in the Day". This car is from about 15 years ago and the owner lives (or lived) in Las Vegas. Nice guy. I saw this in a mag about 12 years ago and was building a model of it. He sent me a message to tell me that it was his car. He sent me some pics to answer some of my questions. I have the mag at home for reference. Later-

Looks good and a great color choice for it. I'll have to check it out Under Glass. I've been wanting a couple of these kits. Later- -

Let me start by saying that I don't usually do the Black Friday sale thing. Two weeks ago I scheduled the oil change on my car for today (didn't realize the date). I had some time to kill so I stopped by the LHS to find that they had a clearance on Testors spray paints. $1.00 a can and .25¢ for bottles. I got 36 cans and 4 bottles. $265. of paint for $38.!!! Beautiful build. Love the body color. Later-

Thank you Anton. Later-

Thank you. The only strips I used to help hold the body together was around the trunk area because it took a bit of sanding and shaping around the tops of the rear fenders. Other than that it was just lining it up well and super glue. Later-

Thanks Bob! I got a bit more work done tonight. I sanded down the back of the wheel rims since they were too wide. Also got a bit more done on the engine. Not going to go too wild on the detail for the engine. I'll have to see how much work I'll have to do to get the engine not to hit the hood since the body is sectioned. May only need to lower the engine mounting brackets. More work tomorrow night. Later-

Picked this up last night from a guy off of FB Marketplace. Didn't NEED it but, for the $10 pricetag, who could argue? He had very cleanly glued the engine block together and lost interest. An excellent kit to build or great for parts. Thank you! Later-

Thanks Carl. Yes, those are the tires and wheels for this build. What one did I show you the other day? I have so many projects to bounce around on. I started working on the brown 50 and realized I had painted the body with a coat of Pagan gold under the Cocoa Pearl years ago. But when I painted the dash and rear bumper extension I forgot the coat of Pagan gold needed for the color to match. Unfortunately, I used the last of my HOK Cocoa Pearl. I just ordered more so that I can repaint the dash, bumper extension and tops of the door panels to match the body. So, until my paint comes in I'll finish this 49 up first. Later-

What a beautiful car!! I like the color too. Later-

I'll be checking in on this one. If for no other reasons than it is a 63 Vette, the time limit is short, and I'm interested to see how the color turns out. Looks like fun! Later-

Thanks Guys! I'm glad to have finally finished this one. I love the look of it. Later-

It's been a while since I worked on this one. I had actually started back in on Josephine (the brown 50 Sedan) but ended up needing to order some more HOK paint for it. So, back on this one. I changed out the tires for some Modelhaus #430 whitewalls. Small change, but I like them better. I taped off and painted the engine bay and have started on the motor. I also got the dash and steering column/wheel together. I also cut a scrap of clear plastic and mounted it on the top of the hood ornament. Stay tuned. I need to get this one across the line. Been way too long on it. Later-
