  1. If you felt like doing a little scratchwork, you could take 2 of those Pegasus wheels, and cut out the centers. Then you can trim them up a bit and move them towards the center to give yourself a deep dish look.
  2. PFD could be anything. How would we have ever guessed Alaska PFD? I agree though, money is nice to have! Edit: Harry, your line reminds me of a quote from South Park: Randy Marsh: Stan! Stan Marsh: What? Randy Marsh: You've been on your computer all weekend. Shouldn't you go out and socialize with your friends? Stan Marsh: I am socializing r-tard! I'm logged on to an MMORPG, with people from all over the world and getting XP with my party using teamspeak. [pause] Randy Marsh: [hurt] I'm not an r-tard.
  3. Hey man, get anything done on the crew cab Syclone?

  4. The kit instructions show it with the stock wheels painted black, which would be close enough unless you really wanted to be exact (in which case there would be a whole lot more work involved). Really though, I didn't specifically say that the Marlboro edition parts were included, just that the custom decals were the same as it. If you wanted to actually make it, you would have to do a little extra work.
  5. Nope, but it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to make.
  6. Sorry to bring this back up , but I found out while browsing the instructions that the "custom" decals they give are for the rare Syclone Marlboro edition! In addition to the standard Syclone parts, it came with: T-Top Recaro Seats with 5-point harness CD Changer Was repainted in PPG Hot Lick Red And only 10 were built.
  7. Any updates with this build? I'll be building one soon and would love to see this get finished!
  8. Woah, I was watching Pinks: All Out, and guess what I saw?
  9. I'd suggest setting up a free account at Photobucket.com. You can easily upload pics from your computer (as well as resize them), and then easily post them in any forum.
  10. Just fight fire with fire. If you're with someone, start talking at a somewhat higher volume and start praising the model. If it's a kid's model, say things like "that's a great kid's model" or "wow that kid does good work". If the kid is nearby, he will know that not everyone is against him, and maybe the hateful criticizer may rethink his attitude.
  11. Willing to share what sort of comments you heard?
  12. That's the nice thing about Photobucket, you can change the settings so it will upload them at a smaller size. If you want to know how, look under the button that says "upload images and videos" for a link that says "more options". That's where you can choose what size the pics are uploaded at.
  13. Looking good so far, makes me want to work on mine (though I don't have it on hand yet)! Get anymore progress on it?
  14. Notice how it says it was built for export, but the customer never picked it up. Perhaps it was for somewhere with plenty of large straight roads, like Australia (3 150 gallon fuel tanks!)
  15. 2 Builds for me. 1988 Ford F-250 4x4 Ext. Cab hauler 1991 Ford F-350 4x4 Reg. Cab mud truck
  16. 6 months works for me.
  17. If losing the R&R section means gaining a CBP section, then I'm game!
  18. I actually have 2 trucks that I plan on building, along with a Ramcharger (though that's going in the "forgotten builds" CBP ). Gonna be sweet!
  19. I think it's best to make one thread for all the builds so as to better keep track of who is participating.
  20. Either way, it looks like the body isn't pushed onto the chassis all the way, thus the gap near the grille.
  21. Usually I just cut off the front of the box to keep, but if I like the side panels too I'll keep them as well.
  22. It also seems odd using the LT console and leather seats. Best thing to do would be flock the back seat (or paint it like vinyl) and use it as a front bench seat, then just use the rear of the cab for tools.
  23. Am I the only one who still built models while discovering girls? (Editor's note: not simultaneously of course!)
