  1. hahaha .. Andy lives in the North as I do .. exact question I had!
  2. Glad you posted these ... I have those bolts on order and now I know for SURE they are the one's I need! ... thou I never had any doubts .. ... Soon to become some 8 hole GMC steelies
  3. Yup .. another work of art! I haven't seen real bikes that look this good. I just wish I could build at a fraction of your speed ... no matter the results!
  4. My first ride is posted here, but I just came upon some photos of my daughter's Plymouth Reliant she inherited from my 90 year old aunt when she was in high school. I wish I had photos of it's last days after it became the Graffiti Car. All her friends wrote on the car .. inside and out .. don't think there was a bare spot left! I heard the mechanics at the place she traded it in spent 2 days reading it all! Her name was Betty. Color was Putrid Medium Green.
  5. I'm working on a '85 GMC Vanthat my daughter had and using the A-Team Van kit. This is virtually the same body .. it was used for every Chevy van AMT/MPC made. There were little variances every edition ... I really like the look after the chop and section. It has good proportions and looks longer. I love the fact that you're chopping up that old kit!
  6. I loved all of this ... especially how it does bacon ... but my favorite is the patches over the headlights!
  7. I do usually just use pieces of sprue but I have a Dremel attachment for mixing paint that looks just like that. I thought it was from Micro Mark, but I did find both mixers mentioned there while looking.
  8. A great looking car looking even better!!!
  9. Actually, the super clean should remove the oil as well as the paint!
  10. White always looks good with a super clean build!
  11. I have to vote with Jon's method. I've never needed to do anything more and couldn't get any easier.
  12. That Budd's for you! Looks good
  13. I just want to see the composite fiber blade on the dozer!
  14. This is looking good. Not an easy task to add an engine to a curbside but you;re doing a great job. At first I thought the engine was too far back in the chassis but the in last photo of the engine bay it looks just right. Very interesting build.
  15. Little by little this one is actually advancing! The major dash work is complete .. just needs holes in main dash panel for ac/heater controls. Unit is in first primer coat ready for fine putty work. I did chop up the '84 pickup dash for the left side piece and will be patching in the A/C controls too.
  16. Vickie sure has her man on her ring finger! But, that dang thing looks great .. paint included!

OK, Chuck .. what size coat do you wear for the boys coming in the white truck? I do love that motor!
  20. I'm really liking how this is looking. All the thoughtful detailing is really adding to it.
  21. This is a great variety of builds ... and I missed another Classic Plastics. Maybe next year ... my 10 month old grandson was too much of a counter draw this weekend and New Jersey won.
  22. My monitor is a greasy mess from trying to run my fingers on those metal parts to prove they are NOT plastic!
  23. Slick idea for a build.. a pretty good looking Camaro
  24. The paint looks pretty good from here and I like all those touches you added. Gives an overall good look and different from the norm.
  25. and you DID put him over the side on that corner, I assume ..
