  1. That's a huge project you've got going! Do you have any photos of the 1:1 you're shooting for?
  2. I really like the way this is moving ..
  3. That is exquisite!
  4. The body looks much smoother than I'd expect. What material is it?
  5. I find it extremely difficult not to put an engine in for a kit that came with one. I am building an '84 944 and considering leaving the engine out after doing two other 944's, but am having trouble doing it.
  6. One of the biggest things about Sophisticated Finishes is to be sure you but it in a plastic bag after applying the rusting liquid. This increases the effect greatly.
  7. Wondering where you found the used hood and door ... must be only one other Fourgonnette in Michigan! I like it
  8. Welcome to the forum, Brenan
  9. I just found a photo of my 1:1 ...
  10. Oh cool! I've been using Sharpies on the lights I've made. Looks like about $10 for a 1 oz.
  11. What a cheap Dad, get them a 1:1 Flintmobile!
  12. Looks like one you would drive, Chuck cool
  13. She has some good taste.
  14. We searched every Army Post in the area for a different shade of OD when we had to repaint a vehicle, but you found the Motherload! Very cool!
  15. I somehow got behind looking at this and I'm blown away! You use of, what we once called "Mom's Sewing Basket" 50 years ago, is imaginative and looks spectacular!
  16. Engine compartment looks just right!
  17. That's a beautiful, clean, job, Mike! My fingers ache from that sharp edged foil
  18. Thanks for this wonderful presentation
  19. I was considering which of the 924/944's I had would be right, but of course, a 968 with BIG turbos would be it. Porsche 968's had 3.0 liter four cylinder's ... largest production 4-cylinder. My 944 S2 ... the last 944, had the 968 3-liter. It would make sense to have 6's also. Maybe make it 1. 4 cylinder anything 2. 6 cylinder - no turbo or supercharger.
  20. That really looks good ... the rear end especially!
  21. Cool idea
  22. Good looking Z!
  23. I like these ideas so far ... 1. Life In A Dumb Decade - whether it's a car from the 80s, or an 80s-inspired build, let's celebrate the ridiculousness of the 80s. The colours, the fashions, the over the top styles, the emergence of technology, you name it. TResults will either be rad and gnarly, or they'll gag you with a spoon. 2. Spies Like Us - if you were a secret agent, what would you be driving? An Aston Martin or BMW like James Bond? A Challenger RT like Sterling Archer? The Saint's XJS? Let's see your secret agent build. Stealthy and discreet, bulging with weapons and tech, whatever 3. 4 cylinder-ball - No V8s! Only 4 cylinder engines, could be a muscle car with 4cyl transplant. anything goes as long as its got a 4cyl engine. (I get ideas from this!)
  24. I don't think the new 1:1's looked this good!
