  1. I just want to know what 36,000 feet is in 1/25 scale?
  2. I first wondered about some clown stealing the squirrel thunder from Mr Skwirls, but now.. seeing what it has come to.. !!! Beware the Damnastic Duo!!!
  3. Hard to believe all those rust buckets came out of this Surgery Room.
  4. Excellent looking pieces!
  5. This is well Shaken and Baked to perfection! Small touches and it comes out looking different ... this is what model building is all about! Very nice!
  6. Foxer

    poor thing

Very realistic job. The rust looks as it should and in all the right places.
  7. Defiantly some nice looking metal there. I love Metalizer paint .. goes on so smooth and looks very realistic. Unfortunately, none of the hobby shops I visit carried the brass or this would have been a moot question. But, I'm glad it got asked!
  8. Looks like some good bodywork there ... nice and smooth.
  9. That plastic looks amazing with just polish. An unusual color. This looks just like some kids first hubcap adjustment to his "new" Grandpa's Rambler! .. love it!
  10. That all fits beautifully!
  11. There was just a recent thread where I saw this car in some 58-59 drag videos at Detroit. I love the look of this car .. the way the wheel cutouts don't match the slicks. Wonder if it was a recycled body or things "changed" during the build. Great choice for a build!!!
  12. That looks to be headed in a good direction!
  13. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Curtis and Mike, especially for recommending Metalizer Brass. I had just become aware they make a Brass paint and Mike's photo really shows this looks like just what I'm after ... the color and smoothness look perfect. Ismael .. interesting take with using a dark color. I've mixed silver and gold, but never occurred to me of using something dark. Now I'm wondering what that might do to metalizer.. I don't even know what solvent base that is. I'm not sure I've tried regular old Testors Brass, Harry ... guess I figured Model Master would be their better Brass paint, but I'm really disappointed in it.
  14. The title pretty much says it. Those old fuel connectors are what I'm specifically looking to do. The brass paint I have, Model Masters and Floquil, to be exact, have large "chunks" and this is mot pretty. Other brass paints I've used are the same and very unwelcome. I need some brass paint that is smooth and even shiny to some extent. Let the games begin!
  15. An abandoned, rusty old hulk would be appropriate .. and fun to do!
  16. The lines on this just flow smoothly all around. I'd also love tto see more photos.. back and hood down. A truly unique build!
  17. Looks very clean! That's a good looking and different yellow on it .. nice.
  18. Could you give us the name of the putty you are using. There are a few different white ones.
  19. Beautifully done! The paint job on the Z is unique and looks great!
  20. Cool idea. Should make an interesting build.
  21. Regular body putty gets eaten by Super Clean, but I doubt Milliput epoxy stuff will. You might have to grind and sand it away.
  22. The Competition Pack is a current kit. The others, I can't say what the latest reissue might be.
  23. It sure puts that Beetle in the weeds!!
  24. This is really looking fantastic! The engine bay looks disgusting .. perfect! The various body panels and patches are right on. Those roof stripes do add some flare .. but whats the story behind them?
  25. That's commendable detailing on the dash!
