  1. I have been trying to find those also, I have looked everywhere, Maybe contact Kevin from Missing Link, They did the 72-76 Style Dodge wheel covers for the 72 Demon they recently released. I need about a dozen sets of the ones you have pictured, For my 71 Demons, 70 Challengers,Coronets, And 71 Chargers I have to build.
  2. Thats what I mean, Good Enough for some That don't notice stuff like that, But for me to pop down anything resin, It has to atleast be 95% Correct, Not a 78 Dodge Truck with a 79 grill? Weird.
  3. That Truck By R&R Is the same quality as the rest of the stuff they have been making for the last 10 years, Very Poor, I don't know what happend to the quality, If you bought one of the kits back then They were DECENT quality, Know even though I live 15 Minutes from his shop, I wont waste my money on anything they make,Plus the guy shafted me on that 70 300 kit I sold him, I was promised one of them, Never got one. I wouldn't buy a hood from those people anymore, Go find 2 78 LRT Dodge stepsides, And make your own, You would get better results, R&R lists them as 79's But I took a closer look,The cab is a 78, With a 79 hood and grill, You guys should see the the 70 Dart Swinger I bought from them 3 years ago, What A peice of junk, No vent windows, No drip rails, and the front of the doorlines are sanded almost completely off, Not to mention the grill is from the 71 Demon, Right bumper, But It will not fit. Make your own, Don't waste you money on one. R&R's stuff is getting worse . No quality control at all, It's quantity, Not quality to them. I would have to rate them up there with frontier resins now, And thats really sad.
  4. Thanks for the information Ron, That 70 is beautiful, One question though, Were did you get the double line white walls at, I would love to use those on mine, The only kit I have seen those in was the stock version of the AMT/ERTL 66 Riviera, So far what I have done on this is the body roughed in, I still have to add the vinyl top moldings and seams. and add the trim around the taillights and backup lights , I think there was also a little strip of trim that is on the rocker panels also, I need to find some more photos of the car online to get it more accurate. You sure can find alot of 71 Cuda's on here, But the Gran Coupes are hard to get good photos of. Beautiful Build on that 70, I never thought that the Revellogram 70 AAR Kit could look so nice, You nailed that one, By the way what color is that on it?
  5. Don, Those wheels were never offered in any kit, I wish they did, They look great on Dusters and Satellites also, That is a great Idea about offering that conversion package for the Jo-Han Cudas out there. I compared it to the MPC 73-74 Body I have , And the Jo-Han body looks alot better in my eyes. The revogram. Good Idea also. Well back to the grind on this one.
  6. It sure did those markerlights came off the car you sent me.
  7. Here is how the car sit lastnight. I still need to add alot of details to the body. Does anyone know where I can find the Barracuda emblems that go on the tops of the front doors? and the Gran Coupe crest? Have a look.
  8. Yes they did, The color on it was B2 Light Blue Metallic, With the matching interior.
  9. I'm working on the interior right now. I have the body almost done. Still need to add a few more details.
  10. I still think this car is absolutely Jaw Dropping.
  11. I would try foil casting it, It's real easy to do, Cut the Bare Metal Foil twice the size of the marker light, Then fold it over so it sticks to itself, Burnish it over the back marker light, , I would use an unpainted body if you have one on hand, If not use what you have already, make sure you tape the top and bottom of the foil leaving the marker light exposed ,And start off with a cotton swab , Then carefully work around the detail with a toothpick, After that ,Remove ,And fill in with baking soda or baby powder mixed with superglue, Mixed so you can just flow it in the mold you just made with a toothpick, I always do this sideways to keep it uniform, Let it dry ,Then cut it out, And you have your markerlight, Already Chromed! Very easy to do, And FREE parts, I make them all the time. I hope this helps you out, That paint looks like glass.
  12. I'm trying to make it stock, I'm having issues with finding an interior for it. I'll keep working on the body untill I can find one.Or toss it back in the box, One of the two.
  13. What are you using for your wheel covers? I would love a set, Or to know how you made them.
  14. I agree, The Mustang looks great Don, I'm building on!
  15. Yeah they were kind of rare cars to see here where I live in Michigan, Buick Town, There is some ,And was alot of Chrysler dealerships around the area, Now we only have 2. Sound like a good story about the sweetie, Do you have any photos of your build? I'd like to see how you did yours. If I could have found a Original 71 MPC Body and bumpers , It would have saved ALOT of work, But I would have not had the enjoyment out of making the mods I have done so far, The color combo I have been thinking about on this one is either , One of the Yellows or the Butterscotch/Bahama Yellow. With the Chestnut Brown Interior. If I do put the vinyl top on, It will be white.,I'm along ways away from paint on this one.
  16. I have been toying around with this for the past few weeks, The Hood is Fron Reliable Resin, Great Products Might I add, The mods I have done to the body so far, I cut out all four of the marker lights from a junk Monogram 71 Cuda Body, And added the bodyline to the header panel, The marker lights that go in the valance panel are thinned and cut down parts from the same Monogram body, This is still in the early stages of the build, I still need to find the stock interior from the snapfast 74 Cuda, And the chassis ,As the kit is strictly a prostock kit with the gutted interior, and just a smooth chassis,None of the stock marking exist on it, Here it is with the lights on the sides roughed it, I still need to add putty to blend them in. And if anyone could help me out with those parts, It would be great, I would really like to get this done soon, And please excuse the photos, I have to use my LG Cell Phone. No digital camera just yet,Soon I hope.
  17. I put my initials under the trunk area on the body, And also the paint code and what brand that I used on it there.
  18. Hey That hood looks great, Where did you get that at?
  19. Yes that would be the "Twister" Option, Those cars also used the 340 grill. Back then you could get almost anything on Mopars. I have a photo of a 77 Fury Salon 4-door with those same exact wheels on it.
  20. That is a very close match to the "Marina Blue " They used back then, That color was just a little darker, More around the lines of Lemans Blue, Or the Chrysler B-5 Blue. The paint looks great. Steve K
  21. Happy Birthday Steve !

  22. Looks great, Now contact Kevin on here to get the stock wheels from him, That would really set it off, Have fun foiling that monster, It took me 12 hours to foil my yellow one.
  23. I Would be interested in a set of those "Sundance" Interior decals for the one's I have to finish up, My personal taste I would paint the car "Bittersweet" Metallic with the black or white decals, I have one painted up that color, I think it looks nice that color. Just a suggestion on the color.
  24. So your the one that outbid me on it? Your should scan tehm and make the decals again, I would need about 10 sheets of them for all the Demon's I have.
