  1. '49's were available with the quarter windows, too, so they'd still be correct for a '49. But to answer your question, you'd just need to fill in the quarter windows with styrene. Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland makes a regular cab without the quarter windows, but IIRC, it's chopped.
  2. Wow! I'm not even going to bother trying to build my Allison Matador once this one's done!
  3. Most of the Testors enamels will strip quite quickly, especially if the Purple Stuff is warm. I've had some in the tub for five or ten minutes, and when I took them out, the paint was already dripping off.
  4. There's another Skywal... model car magazine with a forum that doesn't have "Model" or "Car" in the title?
  5. Yes, if you'd believe that! They're hosted by that model car magazine without "Model(s)" or "Car(s)" in the title!
  6. Just Googled 'jeffb', and nothing untoward came up. Maybe they just don't like quality cast resin on the other board!
  7. I've seen it happen in a monster truck (well, I've seen it in a video, anyway), but THAT would be frightening!
  8. Very nice! Now maybe there'll be time to finish that Citroen Trefle?
  9. So... if I crank up "Mr. Blue Sky" or "Strange Magic" the paint will come right off?
  10. That's for sure! When I saw his most recent Caterham model, I kept thinking "Why does this guy even bother starting with a kit at this point?"
  11. Nice to see one in a color besides red!
  12. All except #1. Most, if not all of my models use multimedia parts, or parts raided from other kits or parts I make myself.
  13. Love it! Is that the Modelmartin body?
  14. Too bad I didn't catch this one last week! Back to the drawing board, armed with this little tutorial!
  15. If you do make a set and end up casting them, I'd be up for a set or two.
  16. I knew a guy who had one, metric speedometer and all!
  17. Great job on the conversion,Steve! Seems the rebadged Chevy to Pontiac thing was going on into the early '90's. Witness the Tempest (Chevy Corsica), this one being an '89 model...
  18. Mostly reissues, but they have some new stuff coming down the pike. For instance, not one, but TWO Batmobile kits, in snap and full detail form. They've also recently brought out kits of the new Challenger and Corvette, but if I'm not mistaken, those were done under the old RC2 regime. (Could be wrong on that note, though.)
