  1. It's worth about $180 as scrap... hollah!!!! Christian- Are those last two hearses Daimlers?
  2. Great Kustom, and a good name! Not so much for the color, but because I had a girlfriend named Amber, and she demanded to be treated like a queen!
  3. Half-hearted diecast tooling or not, I'd have still liked one. I'm surprised no one does a Cutlass transkit for the Monogram GN or AMT/MPC Monte Carlo.
  4. Only hassle the Ithaca cops will give you is for having a loud exhaust on your car... even though all those guys ride Harleys (their own personal bikes, not police issue) with pipes that could wake the dead.
  5. Just got this '89 Ranger for free. I think I got screwed!
  6. You thought I forgot all about it didn't you? Well, for a while, I did... Last night, I fogged it with some metallic blue, just to see how it would look, and adressed the wheelbase situation- I had to move the Revell rear axle ahead quite a bit to line everything up. Who knows... maybe it'll sit another two months or so for no good reason.
  7. Update! Reposted the pictures so they actually show up again!
  8. Always, always, ALWAYS love to se the model Junkyard stuff! Keep it coming!
  9. From the sounds of things... I'll be getting one of each to build... and twenty or thirty of each to donate parts to my various rod projects!
  10. Whoa... looks like an infected, stubbed toe!!!!
  11. Amen to that, brother! I'd like to see some more industrial equipment in 1:25 too, but I'm not holding my breath.
  12. I would check out Dragon Models website- I belive they distrubute GS kits. But to answer your question, I'm not aware of GS having it's own, independent site.
  13. Wow. Guess milky clearcoat isn't the only bane of a modeler on a muggy day...
  14. Check out your local Gehl equipment dealer- I bought mine from the parts department at Hofferbert Sales in Bannister, MI.
  15. Ford and it's 'daughters', Mercury and Lincoln. It's funny, a few of my buddys and I were talking about this subject a few days ago, and they all know I'm a Ford guy, and they were asking about all the GM, Mopar, and import models I've built. Huh. Guess I'm a "Model Car Guy" first, and a "Ford Guy" second!
  16. Wow... that is cool! I've only had the recent reissues of this kit, which only have the back panel of the camper. I'm going to have to track down this issue of the kit!
  17. Sweet indeed! Who'd have thunk a gigantic Cadoo would look so good as a funny car? And the forward tilting body would be great if your pit crew forgot to strap it shut before you made a pass!
  18. This is the same basic kit which was reissued by Model King a few years back- it's about on par with the '64 Comet kit. I have one somewhere that I've added the '60 Starliner chassis and floor to, but it's a long way from being done. I also cut open the hood- I will say be careful here, because the plastic is pretty thick!
  19. Very cool old school rod... I really like the 4-banger!
  20. Think I'm going to have to check out PreEarther!!!!
  21. What's not to be happy about? Mean stance, cool color, sweet side-steer setup... I can't see a single thing wrong with it.
  22. A Stude hovercraft!? NOW I've seen everything! No, wait... I've never seen a talking spider... so I guess I've seen JUST ABOUT everything. Very cool. One idea- instead of painting the rod black, maybe try replacing it with a clear one? Perhaps just a length of polished clear kit sprue... you've GOT to have some of that on hand, right?
  23. Shhhhhhhhhhsh! He's still sanding the body, and possibly trying to devise a way to recycle those reinforcing rods to cobble up a roll cage!
  24. But, man.... could you imagine if these 'newer' Pochers were done to the same level of detail as, say, the old Bugattis? My brain would melt if I opened the box on something like that...
