  1. I guess your handle makes that clear enough. Like this post if you agree we should do a 71 and or 72 Roadrunner soon. -Steve
  2. At this point it's clear we can reverse engineer (clone) any kit we choose. Are you suggesting we redo the MPC '71 and/or '72 Plymouth Roadrunner kits ? -Steve
  3. I've recently seen and held the new Black Beauty 3D printed mockup and it really looked great to me, I expect Jamie will be showing it off very soon. -Steve
  4. You can pre-order it from Autoworld now under AMT1411M. I'm sure the other webstores will have it listed soon. -Steve
  5. The box art is car is from a stock photo provided by Dodge so I can't say what size those tires are. The tires in the kit are scale 245/45R20 no names based on the '21 model year OE installed Firehawk GT style tires. The kits tire measurements are 9.75 mm wide, sidewall is 4.41mm with a 20.32mm opening. Tire diameter is 29.16mm. The wheels are scale 9"x20" -Steve
  6. The convertible only sidepipes didn't make it back into the new kit, sorry long story. You'll notice those aren't shown on the new box art either. -Steve
  7. Chances are 100 % for MPC Speedway style, no name Red Line tires for the '68 GTO. -Steve
  8. Exactly right although if you look at the new box art it no longer says Super Bee anywhere on the box except for the decals. It's on the decal sheet for those that want to make a "custom" Super Bee convertible. For those that don't the side stripes are sized long enough so you can trim the Super Bee logo off and do the stock R/T stripes. -Steve
  9. I just saw the 3D printed Mockup of the Green Hornet yesterday, looks fantastic to my eyes but it's not my project to critique. A 68-69 GTO Convertible is highly possible, again it depends on the success of the '68 Hardtop version. The AMT1305 66 Mustang GT Fastbacks have shipped too, they're coming from a different factory so they should be available next month too. OBS Chevy pickup will be late March or April. Several of our factories are on their New Years break until Feb 01 so that always slows thing down. -Steve
  10. The first run of the AMT1411 '68 Pontiac GTO Craftsman Plus kit have already shipped along with the MPC978 '68 Dodge Coronet Convertible. If there's no unexpected delays they should be available in about 30 days from now. If the '68 GTO does well I'll take a hard look at tooling up the exposed headlamp grille and maybe expanding it by doing a '69 GTO version also. Both are now available for pre-order at the Autoworld Store. -Steve
  11. There's a small tree of plated parts that will be added to the Hardtop. Once the Convertible is officially out I'll look into previewing it. -Steve
  12. Yes, those are beacon lenses that will be included with next version along with some other related parts not shown yet. Originally they were just in with the '69 annual hardtop kit molded in red only but I decided to make another set in clear. I wondering how long it would take before they were spotted. -Steve
  13. Cool looking van, what year grille is shown here? I would love to backdate the Dodge Van kit to the early body style. But a new grille would be more doable. As for the cabinets I could look for the inserts. Does anyone have those actual interior parts ? -Steve
  14. We don't have the clear booth inserts and I'm wondering if it would be worth the effort to bring back the booth parts if we were to reissue the TTT. I've looked at some vintage TTT both parts, they are mostly clear pieces with almost no positive mounting locations, doesn't exactly look fun. That's why asked if anyone actually built one. Steve
  15. Both will have an engine bay with a separate lower engine plate but no engine. Consider them to be unassembled promos, less the hard to paint over colors. -Steve
  16. I confirmed yesterday the upcoming Ford Bronco reissue has the 1982 trim parts, and that we do not have the earlier grille insert. The description will be changed to 1982 Ford Bronco. It will most likely be packaged in one of the vintage box styles but I'm not sure which one yet. I happen to the like the graphics on the 1980 box, but we'll see. -Steve
  17. Yes, clear front lamps for both the Silverado and the Dually. -Steve
  18. I haven't given any thoughts to updating the Dually yet kit beyond this issue but I wouldn't rule it out. I believe the Tahoe is another one that we never owned the tooling for. So if we did it it would have to be retooled. It would probably be few years away If I can get on the to do list. I would describe the new Dually kit as an easy to assemble glue kit. Same for the Silverado Pickup. -Steve
  19. Here's the printed mockup for the Dually. In the late '80's and 90's a number of promos were contracted out as finished items and we never owned the tooling. I believe the Dually was part of that group. Also shown is a partial first test shot for the C1500. They were designed at the same time but don't actually share any parts. -Steve
  20. The '96 Chevy 3500 Dually is the upcoming new companion piece to '92 Chevy C1500. See the other discussions about it in the truck section.
  21. The new Charger RT's are not in stores yet, still on the container ship on their way to the port. HPI Guy got one of our production samples sent by air freight. Hopefully you can find them around mid-December. -Steve
  22. This is my actual test build using the new Chrome parts on a leftover AMT637 55 Nomad kit. It's like having builders driving things because we are builders. -Steve
  23. Stock tires are wide whites on the one side, narrow whites on the other. Slicks are pad printed Goodyear Blue Streaks. We've also added some clear sheet stock to make front side and or vent window glass as desired. -Steve
  24. I will try to post some images sometime after the Thanksgiving Holiday of the latest mockup for item #4 of next year. In the meantime, here's a big hint! I have paired up several of these projects, the 65 and 68 GTOs were paired up to make the development easier. This next item was paired up with '92 Chevy C1500 short bed pickup. -Steve
  25. This version has been stripped of its badges and the wipers too so it's really not a good starting point for a stock conversion. Personally, I'm a big fan of the GM intermediates 64-72 so I'm hoping to keep filling in some of the gaps of what's missing especially with the ones we can clone easily from our own designs. I've already got eight cloning projects going for 2023, you've only seen the first three so stay tuned. -Steve
